Here it is! Your two finalists!
A repeat of last years epic final that went the distance, with Novak clinching the win.
The pair have played 39 times, with Roger leading the H2H only slightly at 20-19.
Grass H2H at 1-1, with both players splitting their previous Wimbledon meetings.
May the best man win!

Going with the Roger win 4 sets. Playing some ruthless tennis. Hope he serves well. I suppose there will be other threads, so we can use whatever one...

Bed time.

Last year Fed reached the final having lost only one set, while Nole had lost four. Nole is playing better this year.

I say Nole in five.

Sexi Masterclass in 4 sets. Roger is playing vintage tennis. Djoker will be roast for a second Slam final in a row.

I didn't see enough improvement on the return game from Federer. I'll say Djokovic in 5, but wouldn't it be something for Federer to finally break the Wimbledon record?

I think Federer is playing this Wimbledon than he did last year, which is saying something. Yet Djokovic is having another great year. My brain says Djoker in 5 sets, but my heart says Fed-maestro in 4. I want the old man to get his eighth crown!

8erer in 4.

Djokovic lost to Federer 2-3 times when he was going to tie their H2H. I hope it will happen one more time!

If Fed plays the way he did against Murray just now in the final, then we'll have a great match with Roger winning in 4 or 5 hopefully! Can't wait!

Make no mistake.

Novak is the favourite here.

He's younger, the World Number 1, defeated Roger last year in the Wimbledon final (and basically burned Roger in all the big finals recently) and in Bo5, he's got the edge.

However, my heart is with Roger - the greatest grass champion.

10 Wimbledon finals. Just insane.

I'd love to see Federer win another one at his age, but I'm just not seeing him get past Djokovic. I think Djokovic will just consistently lean on Federer and put the pressure on him to force the points. I think it will be more Federer's loss than Djokovic's win. Win or lose, Federer will put the match on his own racquet.

Djokovic in 4.

Federer in 4, I feel he at a higher level than Novak. He has better BP conversion which is surprising, and he become a challenge beast( just like AO2010.)

Honestly, I say I haven't seen Federer play this well ever since 2007. IF he keeps on playing this style, and if he doesn't switch back to rallying mode, I say Fed in 3. Honestly though, I expect Federer to disappoint yet again. We'll see.

he will be leaving a bitter feeling if he does not win, that's for sure.

Roger in 4
Roger wins the 1st 2 sets novak wins set 3 in tie break roger closes it out in the 4th

6-4 7-5 6-7 6-3

Crowd backs Fed
Novak complains to Umpire in 3rd set
Novak slips and falls while hitting a backhand to go down 2 breaks to love in the 4th set
Fed shanks a back hand cross court that nearly hits the Umpire in the 3rd set tie break
Becker is a little happy in the end cause he still has 3 wimbledons to Novak 2 but tries to contain himself from cheering for Roger on match point.

mean while Edberg looks on as if he expected nothing other than roger winning.

Today's match maybe actually counterproductive for Federer in two ways:

1) he knows that he cannot do much better in the serving department. Hard to believe he can repeat that in a second match in a row and he knows it
2) Andy folded under pressure but Novak won't so who knows what will happen when Federer hits the wall again and again. I know he is resilient like no other, but still

Still, I hope that Federer wins, but if that happens, it will be tough as hell.

Can't say this is the final I wanted, though. Grigor - Roger would have been otherwordly. Novak should be confident, I feel. He has played solid tennis this tournament and he knows the chances of Federer repeating his serving performance are miniscule.

Federer in straight sets, similar to what we've just seen. Even at 33 he is still the best grass courter in the world when he plays like he did in the SF. I'm not always a fan of his personality but you can't help but marvel at what an incredible, professional player he is. Congrats to all the great Fed fans out there, your guy deserves it.

I'm ****ing myself after that performance from Federer. Would love Novak to win, but would be a nice story too if Fed got this one.

Federer in 4, I hope so. If he plays like today, if he serves like today, I don't think Djokovic will have a real chance.

I want to see him winning finally the nº 18.

The display of tennis shown today was simply amazing, Novak has yet to play like that during these two weeks and struggled a bit.

Djokovic is the clear underdog. He has done a great effort reaching his 4th W final and 17 in total.

Here is to a great final.

It really doesn't matter how many sets a player lost last year. Had Anderson not blatantly choked, he would have been out in the 16's.

No matter how gorgeous Roger is serving, Nole is the favorite. It kills me to say it, but it's based solely on age. Obviously Roger is infinitely the greater player and especially the better grass court player.

Roger missed a lot of sitter FH's today and his ROS is still not great.

One factor that can be quite important: the crowd. They will be 90% for Roger and hopefully screaming their heads off for Fed.

This whole reverse jinx or whatever you are doing is getting a bit too much, no?

djoko in 4 sets.....fed is underprepared for the final with a weak draw while djoko is battle hardened.....facing djoko is not the same as facing weaponless murray or a pusher like simon.....

Last year Nole lost three sets in the QF and semi final. Federer only one. Even his SF was a very tight affair, with Nole winning two TBs while Federer cruised his SF.

Then Fed won the first set of the final. And yet all that meant nothing.

And Nole is playing better than last year.

Fed won't win and I mean it. I was certain he'd own Murray but Djokovic will rise to the occasion.

I'd say something like 7-5 7-6 3-6 6-4 for Djokovic.
