I know, but I'd like it if such posters just get banned quickly, so that they can't bother us anymore. I come here to talk about tennis, not to fend off trolls.

Yes, I agree with this. There has been a lot of drama in this match and Jelena has been quite vocal.

I know. I am here trying to talk about this match between Halep and Jankovic and communicate with others who want to do the same, but as I scroll down the thread, I just see needless rubbish posted.

#Simona's defensive #ArantxaSV style of tennis is what's hampering her progress. Not to mention her #79 mph first serve. The women shouldn't copy the men in this regard. Tennis was once more offensive than it is now.

My being impatient with this match has carried over into my ability to fully enjoy the Djoko/Fed match. :(

Either that or I have had too much beer already as a result of said women's match.
 
Atleast we know now halep is not gonna win a slam. Never seen a more mental midget. Can't barely beat jankovic when this kind of opposition proposes to her. No serena, no sharapova, and still look. Just like always, in slams too. Can't cope with pressure.
 
Halep on the cusp on victory now. Can she do it, Jankovic is on the edge.
 
JJ needs to stop trying to go behind and spread the court when she gets the chance, it worked earlier and has stopped since the mid 2nd set....

Another let that doesnt get called... somehow 5'6 lands short serves no let, but 6'5 Raonic hits almost back of box and gets called. BS!
 
For some reason, I thought Jankovic had won a major. I knew she had been #1. I certainly think of her as better than Safina or Woza ever were.

That is for sure. 8 other players would have to get hit by lightning for her to win a slam. She is one of the weakest number 3 players ever.

And for a veteran Jankovic is embarrassing. She should have closed this match out a half hour ago.

Both players have now been two points away from the championship.
