I feel like Murray and Ferrer have played this same match quite a few times now on hard courts (and once on grass) over the years, feels like deja vu. In the end, Murray's far better serve makes the difference because Ferrer is unable to avoid being broken by him, but the rallies are always long and grueling.
Yeah and it was played by them like they accepted the very same thing. They played it like, "oh here we go again - welp, I know what's in store and I might as well suck it up. Game on David/Andy."
I guess my point is, a person who has never seen them play before might tune into the match and get the impression they've played this story out 100 times.
Murray in four sets around 3 hrs 20 minutes. The first time watched Murray match and not very impressed with his form. This draw will allow him to make final here but Djokovic will slaughter him in straight sets.
Right now, had Nadal not tripped up first round and played himself into the tournament, I'd have still slightly favoured Murray for the moment - especially on evidence of what I saw from Nadal in his first round match regarding his explosiveness deep into the match.
Ok I feel like placing a bet, but need to be almost certain that Murray will win. Does anyone think Ferrer realistically has any chance of beating Murray? Only thing worrying me about Murray is if he is "distracted" by the birth of his child.
I'm watching Murray/Ferrer replay and I have to say Murray looks like he's capable of winning it all. Have to feel sorry for Ferrer. He's working as hard as he can, but Murray has all the answers. I've always admired Ferrer's tenacity, but I don't think he'll ever win a major let alone another 1000.
you mean kind of like how unbearable this place was after novak beat fed at wimbledon last year and USO(ffs zagor took a hiatus and that dude has more or less always been chill). Lets be real each fanbase is going to think the other one is 10x worse so naturally you are going to find this place more insufferable should fed win. Also you happen to, imo, a cool djokovic fan(depending on the day ) but your posts are driving me insane. You know deep deep inside, novak is not losing this. and what is worse is some idiotic part of me kind of believes you and that is never a good thing because time and time again I have this inkling that hey "maybe this time fed will beat him" and then i'll wake up tomorrow morning to see that novak beat fed so my main point is stop teasing me and getting my hopes up!! Well w/e, nothing could possibly be worse than getting up at 3AM to see fed lose to nadal in AO 2009.
