LEAGUE FILE

Stan going out has made it hard for me to win the tournament as I have already used Murray I could play safe for the final but I am here to win!

Quarter Final: Ferrer

Just realised that my pick now means I cannot win the AO (and I'm not brave enough to pick an upset atm). Oh well, at least I can accumulate some QF/SF/F points

I didn't pick Raonic because I realised that I was gonna run out of picks for the final if Murray - Raonic plays the other semi. Because for the semi I would have to choose between Djokovic and Federer if I use Raonic for the QF, so then if I pick Djokovic for the semifinal, I wouldn't have a choice for the last match.

If Federer wins today, think I will go for the upset in the semi nº2. I wouldn't mind to make it to the final and lose there because of the no picks scenario, but I'm going to take my chances

My whole campaign got rekt by Stan losing lol

Same here, but I'm glad he lost since Murray has a better chance vs Raonic in a possible semifinal.
Should Federer win his qf, I think it will be interesting to see how the picks go for the sf for those whom have already picked Federer and Murray, obviously dependent on Djocovic and Murray also winning.

I'm already constrained to the top half now, so I only really care about 2 QF results (Djoko and Murray matches)

If I were you. I would pick Raonic now and then Djokovic for the SF. Coz with that there's more of a chance of getting to the final

10 through to the SFs as Federer straight-sets Berdych.

Still some people left to make picks for tomorrow's QF matches.

I think your just playing it safe.
haha, nah actually think Raonic has a good chance, he's been one of the most impressive guys at the AO so far (2nd best in my view).

Fed - Best but has Djokovic on Plexicushion - have him at 30/70 but may switch depending on my mood tomorrow
Djokovic - Not great but solid enough to get through, definitely needs to up his game though
Murray - Least impressive of the last 4
Raonic - Has probably had the hardest draw out of these guys and navigated it very well.

Raonic can beat Murray I will give you that. But him beating Djokovic/Federer is too much IMO. I don't think he is ready quite yet to win a slam

I think he's got to be ready now or he never will be, the window is fading and fast. Also came into this AO expecting a surprise result, Raonic is the only one capable of achieving such so my faith layeth with Rao-Rao

Yeah considering how predictable this AO has been so far, you'd think we'd be getting quite a few winners at the end!
Alas, not predictable enough for my ultra safe path to glory (damn you Stan)

Difficult choice: play reasonably safe and hopefully defend points or go for a potential win?
I may just flip a coin - I rarely do well when I think! :)

Raonic's draw was tough in R4 of course, but in the QF he had the easiest opponent of the 4 that are in the semis I think. His draw was good if you look at his ranking in my opinion.

Don't have a clue of what's going to happen in the Murray Raonic match, I think andy in 5, but raonic has a good shot and I'm not going to be surprised if he is in the final.
