Welcome to the 18th event of the 2016 ATP Sudden Death League Season: The Championships, Wimbledon (SW19).

This is the 3rd Slam/Major event of the year. Please read the rules below carefully.

RULES (Slam/Major Event):

1. In the Main Draw, you pick one player who you think is going to win. It's a knock out-system: if the player you picked wins, you're through to the next round. If he loses, you're out.

2. You pick one player per "half" of the draw for the first 3 rounds. From the Round of 16 (R4), pick by the round - this will mean making 10 correct picks in total to win the title.

3. 3. You can pick a player only ONCE. Obviously it's important to make smart choices in order to get far. If you have no picks remaining, you're eliminated from the competition.

4. You can't pick a player from a match that has started already.

5. You cannot advance to the next round via a walkover since it is hard to know exactly when someone announced they were pulling out HOWEVER this rule does not apply once you reach the semifinals

6. Since you can no longer win a match by a walkover it is highly advised that you make a back-up pick to your main pick - when listing your picks make sure you specify which is your back-up.

7. If the player you picked retires during the match, you're out. If he retires before the match, your back-up pick will be used.

8. If the opponent of the person you picked withdraws and is replaced by a lucky loser your original pick will stand unless you specifically change it.

9. NEVER edit your pick. If you want to change your pick, please quote your old pick and choose a new player. Edited posts will not be taken into consideration.

[Pay close attention to Rule #2] Since World No. 1 Novak Djokovic is the defending champion, he will play on Centre Court at 1pm on Monday 27th June - as a result, our picks will be structured as follows:

Pick 1: Round 1 Top Half
Pick 2: Round 1 Bottom Half
Pick 3: Round 2 Top Half
Pick 4: Round 2 Bottom Half
Pick 5: Round 3 Top Half
Pick 6: Round 3 Bottom Half
Pick 7: Round of 16 (Round 4)
Pick 8: Quarter-Finals
Pick 9: Semi-Finals
Pick 10: The Final

I have to say this is a ridiculous pick, not sure how you called this one!
Haha what you're crazy! :p His opponent (Glasspool), I'd never heard of, his wiki page has his total career prize money as $25,000, never even played a main draw ATP Match/tournament, not even sure if he's played or won a main draw challenger match!!! Achieved nothing in his career haha.
Meanwhile Novikov I had heard of, played main draw 2016 Miami masters, 2016 Delray Beach, USO 2012 (beat Janowicz 1R!) and has had a far better career. Pretty much knew he'd be a shoo in haha ;)

oh well, happy for Salisbury getting a big win but very surprised.
Time to get ready for the big dance with no points to defend
