I'm reminded of the 2-3, 40-0 third set Wimby'12 final when I was watching the 5-5 second set game tonight. At least Andy is consistent!

First his father, then his brother, now his uncle? Lets face it, Djokovic doesn't even know the guy exists.

If we are thinking about the same guy that the camera zoomed in, then I'm very sure that is Novaks uncle, Srdjans brother. And not some guy from the crowd or Novaks brother, cause Novaks brother does not have grey hair.

I really don't like when players argue over a call, once the point is lost. Not the first time Andy has done it this match. Nothing is going to change. The Umpire isn't going to replay the point. He should move on, and try and focus on the next point. Things usually go downhill when this happens.

Are you for real? Things are already as downhill as they can get for Muzza tonight.

It's just Stan I worried about! He can handle the rest! He can beat Stan too but it much better if he goes out. Hope he departs RG early this time lol

Well, where is the sense of accomplishment in that?

It would be so much sweeter for Novak if he faces his toughest challenges (i.e., Stan & Rafa at RG) and overcomes them for the title.

Worst freaking chair umpire in history. Seriously this guy is a clown, no balls to make the obvious calls. That's TWO df's missed on BP.

Seriously, you can't expect Murray to not return and challenge the serve in that situation. This is madness and he should NEVER umpire a major final again. Unforgivable.
He didn't miss df's, he missed first serves.

It would have meant a second serve for Djokovic.

... and he's the only umpire in history with a "golden slam".

Terrible umpiring. Can't expect Murray to stop play and challenge, it's not his job. Umpire should be doing his job not just sit back. Gutless.

If Murray were to come back from here, how would it compare to the great comebacks of all time. Gaudio at RG 2004?

True but he already beat Rafa. Fed got lucky winning his so I would like a bit of luck for Nole at RG haha

"He's NEVER won RG and you're talking about CYGS already?!?!?"
Who is seriously going to stop him at RG? Unless Nadal makes a huge comeback (very unlikely), it would take a one-off freak performance from an inspired young gun/Wawrinka/current top 20 player in order to beat him. And that's only if Djokovic has had a 5 set match the previous day (like what happened last year).

I think he'll do it this year

I don't particularly enjoy watching Djokovic, but I have nothing but respect for clutch he has been on all these break points.

Generally speaking, Murray has played too safe and too down the middle. He needs to open up the court.
