Thiem - Ramos, Dimitrov - Schwartzman, Khachanov - Lopez, and Troicki - Anderson are the quarterfinal matches.

Young GOAT looking like the favorite to win the whole thing. Congrats to him on 200 victories.

I could see Khachanov getting through the bottom half...he is rounding into nice form this last half of '16.

Making his first final here could foreshadow some good things for him in '17. Perhaps he is the young gun we've been looking for to save the tour from Ultronimation.

God knows he's paid his dues in a lot of Challengers in some desolate locations that make a 250 in Chengdu seem like a slam. I think it has kept him hungry and it's time to feast!

Dimitrov losing to Swartzman. Gricasso is painting some abstract art here.

Big Khachanov through in straights vs Lopez

On the brink of Top 50 or thereabouts now
Not quite...NCH #81. Needs the title to knock on top 50 (#53).

Great win! 10 aces, faced zero BPs, troubled Lopez often on serve (9 BPs, converted the two he needed).

Troicki stands in the way from his first final.

A brush splinter just flew by my face; Gricasso is now painting an abstract Pollock-life canvas called Death by Schwartzman, Part Deux.

WTH is this ****ery from Dimitrov? The ATP must be weeping wondering where they went wrong. Sheesh! A bunch of clowns this "next gen"

Took Girgor the better part of 2 sets to figure out a guy barely 1.7m tall can't deal with moonballs

Yet he persists with the BH slice

Yes!!

And he's now officially back in the Top 20

Thiem would be a good measure of progress tomorrow

The Thieminator just got Thieminated by Ramos-Vinolas!

Doesn't look as if he has anything left in the tank for the rest of 2016.

Thieminator sent packing! Guy must be exhausted. Probably should've gotten some rest instead of playing here.

Young GOAT meanwhile grinds his way to victory in a three setter over Ramos and Khachanov through to his first ATP semifinal.

Dimitrov - Ramos and Khachanov - Troicki are the semifinal matches.

He got Vinolated! :D @Meles
Missed the match as it was over so quickly. My guess is Thiem layed an egg in the first set and then Vinalos serving 84% in the 2nd didn't help matters. Not the end of the world as Vinalos has been playing fairly well this Summer. No jet lag for Thiem next week.:D Berdy is enemy number 1; now more than ever.:p Will Berdy catch Thiem or Monfils for WTF?o_O

It would be nice if Khachanov can make a nice run here. He opens vs Sousa and may have the power to dispatch him. The Mannarino/Kudla winner is beatable. That could set up a tasty QF vs FeLo. A win there could mean a big boy tennis match vs Sinner Nick.
Post bump...called it except for Sinner Nick's ouster.
