45 errors in 18 games o_O

Bit surprised Berdych never defeated djokovic on hc (21-0)
his 2 wins are on grass and clay o_O
Not surprising at all. Djokovic is a hard court specialist after all, why would he lose to Berdych on his favorite and best surface?

Phew, I have to see I'm pretty relieved to see him come through that one. I was starting to fear the worst mid way through the 2nd set.

He had no answer to Djokovics play

Cheers
3Fees :)
No. Djoko could have been defeated if Berdych was playing okay. I am not pinning my hopes on Goffin but if Nishikori makes it to final and he plays at the same level as he did against RBA, Djokovic would be in trouble.

Wow. Djoko held Berdych to only 24% of 2nd serve points won.

Djokovic is the best returner in the game today, and one of the best in history. Berdych cant really compete with Djokovic off the ground even in a neutral rally, let alone one he is starting behind in. Pretty much predictable stat.

Hc is Berdych best surface too
All the top 10 players defeated djokovic on hc expect Berdych I believe

Djokovic's defense is insanely good and it is far better on hard courts overall than either clay or grass. That is why he was able to puncture it a couple times on those surfaces, and never enough on hard courts to get the win despite it being his favorite surface as well. Just a guess. Berdych isn't known to adapt when he is unable to successfully hit through an opponent. Djokovic's own timing is also at its best on hard courts, and he tends to hit crisper, more aggressively, and more accurately on hard courts himself (although today his defense was on display far more than his hitting, as he wasn't really able to get Berdych on his heels much at all but still the defense was too good today).

Really. Novak in 2015 won 58% of 2nd serve return points. 76% is a pretty nice number against a well above average opponent. Similar number against Thiem. Looks pretty special to me what he's doing. (61% so far in 2016:eek:) (Agassi has the career best on this stat at 56%.)

Exactly those are quite a number of respectable matches in 2015 and 2016 with Djokovic. He could get one of these sets to tiebreaker on paper. (I think Djokovic is likely to maul Berdych given his form at end of IW.)
How can say that about someone who's now down 0-20 in HC h2h? That's like saying Ferrer does well against Fed.

They better combine in Paris too. ;)
Boris needs to take a backseat for that one - or at least Wimbly. No more great serving please
Back issue. Could be over. Career.
I agree with that even if the back was not an issue he would still lose. Already things are going wrong. lol
It is that time of year lol.
Are you going all Djokovic2011 on us?

And before the match, mind you :D:D
