over under 4 games in the final?

Woulda liked to see Kyrgios take on Djokovic but oh well hopefully he can keep improving and make a run at Wimbledon.

Freaking unbelievable, Nishikori will never play REMOTELY close to his today's level against Djokovic. I remember their last match, he couldn't freaking string 3 shots in a row without framing. Expect more of that in 2 days.
Don't forget it'll be a 1pm afternoon scorcher.

Probably some bakery products in store.

now there's a butthurt post if I ever saw one. :D:D

And no, he's probably not, but he also just posted the by far best stats I saw all week - 19-12 in W/UE errors, 4/9 on BP's vs. a big server, dominant behind his own first and second serve and strong at the net. Flawless performance really.
The match against Novak will be played entirely different, so of course he can't play as good, when Djoko will get balls back Nick didn't get close to. But I honestly believe he can make it a match and if the bookies are returning the money 5 times or more on him, I'm buying.

I really cannot believe how solid Nishikori's form has been in this tournament. I repeatedly called for him to basically walk off in injury every match. But the guy has not only stayed healthy... he has also managed to fight off these conditions and maintain his form. Unfortunately, Djokovic will raise his level even more on Sunday... Nishikori will naturally lower his level... and end up getting crushed in straight sets.

But I have to say... outside of Djokovic's matches... this tournament has produced some pretty entertaining matches. For both the men and women.

Okay If Nick finds it difficult to deal with Kei, then he is not yet ready to beat Novak. Well done Kei..Hope Novak plays better on Sunday.

Kyrgios got a lot of balls back in play, come on now, he's pretty fast. With Nishikori against Djokovic it's 100% mental. He's got the game to beat him, he just won't. As I said, he will be an error machine in 2 days, mark my words.

I honestly think Nishi stands a better chance. And stands a decent chance. Unless of cause Finalovic shows up with a level 2-3 levels above anything he's shown this week (which tbh is quite possible)

Compared to Raonic, yes. Compared to Djoko, hell no. Djoko would get the balls back deeper and in more uncomfortable positions more often. When Nick got the balls back, they were still very much attackable balls rather than off-setting Kei's advantage in the rally. That's where Ultron is better than anyone else in the game (and where Nishi himself did extremely well today for that matter).

I've marked them alright :D (and it's quite possible - he's almost Stan-like in his inconsistency at times)
