Awful miss from Kei. Been a couple of shockers from him so far. Murray bullying him from the backhand side and his forehand is making errors.

That was horrible from Nishikori. Probably the worst game I've seen this tournament

So fcking going on about his "physical stature". Even as the smaller guy, he makes more bloody errors. Under powered and suspect consistency too? So because he's average height, he's inconsistent? Find another bloody excuse.

Its truly frightening how bad this crop of players are. Beating the top 4 is one thing, atleast try to make a match out of it.
I miss Ferrer rn.

Less tennis ability is the reason he's losing. Course, he won't be serving bombs at 5'10, but he's got no weight of shot. There's other players at his height with more. Again, less tennis ability (than Murray). Nishikori has bags of talent, but when it all comes together, it isn't quite enough.

He's doing much better than guys basically double his height, so stop belittling everyone on tour who isn't fit to play in the NBA. Fcking commies.

he feels he has to go for more to compete with the best players.

you all are being a little hard on the guy!

Murray: Still a strong field.

Haha, it might seem that way, but I actually think he's pretty good. He doesn't seem to bring it against the best which is infuriating. I'm just sick of the commies mentioning his height every time he's faltering. They don't say that when he beats servebots routinely.

I understand Murray is closer to the "right tennis height", but sh it, Kei knows his strengths. He just can't put it together when it matters to be and beat the BEST.

This is what makes me have immense respect for a guy like Steve Johnson. The guy gets bageled... completely destroyed in the first set. Then has the sack to regroup, fight hard and actually wins the second set. He was even a break up in the third before gifting the break back. But the guy competed hard, did the best with what he could, and it showed.

Nishikori? This isn't a problem of matchup or skills. The guy just doesn't have the heart to deal with adversity.

Kei's defense is very very suspect. He's not even close to perfecting the wide stretching low defensive slice, when under pressure that the top guys have.
