The grand finale of the Asian Swing is nearly upon us. World No.1 Novak Djokovic returns as defending champion after skipping Beijing. All the other top players also expected to be there. Should be a good one.

Only the great Nole will win this. His 31st MS-1000 title. Go Nole!
We'll see. Hasn't been on the court in a month and has lost motivation apparently, so I'm not sure if he's the favorite here.

When will it ever be his turn? He's been waiting for years now!
I thought that considering Novak won the most Slams and Masters this year it's not Murray's turn just yet. He can win that race to 2017 Monte Carlo. :D

Djokovic said he is finnish

if murray plays he will win or else a surprise winner like wawrinka, del potro, kyrgios, raonic or nadal etc..

I think he is only an Olympic kryptonite. ;)
11-0 in sets at USO, eight of those vs seeded players, before he was Slaminaled.

There are two or three others that could be Kryptonite at Shanghai if they qualify...Khachanov plays older Zverev and then the Harrison/Schwartzman winner for main draw; Edmund has a couple of wildcards and Lajovic in his qualie section; Youzhny should also qualify and took out Raonic in St. Pete so he's dangerous on a good day.

The draw starts at 10.30 am Shanghai time
Dimitrov will narrowly miss being seeded unless there is another withdrawal. Nishikori and Thiem out. Coric, Muller, and Mahut out.

Dimigod, Delpo, and Zverev will make for some dangerous floaters when the draw comes out.
Dimigod vs Murray
Delpo vs Djoko
Zverev vs Berdy please :D. (Berdy had MTO in his last match and seems to have some issue hampering his movement a touch.)

Since top 8 have byes, this is almost a 1 in 5 chance of getting screwed.

Khachanov and Edmund will be no joke if they make it through qualifiying.

If Djokovic doesn't outperform Murray here he'll really be in a hassle to not lose his #1 ranking to Muzziah in the spring of next year

How does/did the retiring Hitman celebrate after his last event?

I still am competing this December in S.America. I will finish with my last show in Buenos Aires. I haven't been around much recently with the training and competing, I have a little down time for a few days, then pushing hard for the last seven weeks, and then finally...I'm retired. :)

Potential QFs:
No.1 Djokovic - No.7 Berdych
No.4 Nadal - No.8 Cilic
No.3 Wawrinka - No.5 Raonic
No.2 Murray - No.6 Monfils

Tomic vs RBA round 1, Rafa's likely R16 and unless KhachFuPanda comes through as one of two Qualies in that section.
