LOL, the moment I switch to watching matches, Dimitrov breaks!

Guys, enjoy. It's a great match, too bad my livestream went bonkers so I can't watch it anymore.

Itś the old inconsistency problem again, that I remember from his first appearances at Queens as a teen, the inefficiency, and despite improvements Dimi still lacks an inch in that area.

Missed it. Was it a quality match?

It is very hard to beat JMDP indoors when he serves well. I remember him beating Fed in Basel.

You're right. He beat Murray recently in Glasgow on indoor hard. He was so clutch on serve.

Seems to be onwards and upwards for him at the moment. However, we've been here before. Whenever he's fit enough to return to the tour, he quickly rushes back up the rankings. The unknown factor will always be the wrist. Will it hold up this time?

And how did that work out? ;)
Exactly as I expected it would. Anyone following Grigor as intently as I have would have had the same expectations (I know you Gary at least know to read between the lines). I hope you won't begrudge me my hopes, however. I still harbour some hope that something will become of this boy.

Yup. So disappointing, right?

He's just missing a weapon. He has so many great-looking strokes, so much style. I'd love to see a guy like him make it to the top.

However, if he had to go down to anyone, I'm glad it was to Delpo and his Thorhand. ;)

By the way, Delpo, with the 2hbh, is now playing one-handed shots almost as much as guys with a 1hbh. I know it is because of all the problems with the wrist, but if he adds an effective down-the-line slice it's going to be very impressive. Just can't root against this guy. He is so likeable. ;)
