Where does the lesson meme come from?

Don't know who it was, and when it was, but somebody noticed that everytime Nadal reached the final at the Aussie Open, he had played Monfils in Doha in the tournament before, and that Djokovic had played Monfils in the 2010 DC final before his epic winning streak at the start of 2011. Since then he's been known as the Guru, and other players are his students.
