That was said in jest, but I almost pulled it off.
Translation: I don't know what I am talking about, but if the unthinkable happened I would have been over the moon about my "prediction".

That was said in jest, but I almost pulled it off.
That is how it has been for some years though. Nike prepares special outfits for Roger and Rafa, a generic outfit for all the other players, and a separate outfit - mostly inverted/diff colour with same pattern for tier 2 players like Dimitrov/Del Potro. How come most people sponsored by Nike are wearing the same apparel, except for Fed, Nadal, and Grigi? Did most people just happen to choose the same outfit?
Must reach the sf of cincinnatti & Nadal lose in the qf or earlier
Nope 10 points behind nadalWith a win in Montreal, would he take over world #2 though?
Did anyone reply to you? There's only Fed left from the top 8 options in the poll, and he had a bad match today.Would be interested in knowing who voted for "someone else" and whom they had in mind?
@Big_Dangerous i mean Federer must reach the qf in cincinnatti & Nadal must lose in the 2nd or 3th round
I mean he reach must the sfLol, given the sad state of the ATP draws with no Djokovic, no Wawrinka, Murray hurt, I'd say Fed has a great shot to reach the quarters or better at Cincy. If he wins Montreal and Cincy, this might go down as one of the greatest seasons for a guy 35 years or older. I mean 2 slams, and possibly 4 masters titles, plus he'll have a shot at the US Open too...![]()
@Big_Dangerous but Murray will lose 600 pointsMust reach the qf of cincinnatti & Nadal lose in the 3th round or earlier
I mean he reach must the sf
Made a typo
He is 36![]()
2013-16 he was finnishI know, I said 35 or older, lol, because he was 35 to start the year, but only turned 36 a few days ago.Still an incredible and resurgent year from a guy most people thought was finnish winning majors.

It was a great match and guess who Donaldson hit with all the time when he was training on Argentina clay as a teenager? Yep, Diego. Quite friendly.Well, Schwartzman somehow does it. How long has it been since a bagel actually led to a victory? It seems more and more like a bad omen...
Well I pulled my Kyrgios pick, but had Chung and the first two matches wrong.
Bearderer hungovererStill no explanation from Fed for his struggling performance. He seemed hung over. Maybe he went on a bender with Nadal, who had a rough match as well...
I like it. Deep runs by players well under the radar are quite exciting IMO. I love seeing surprise QF and SF opponents, even a final opponent if we're lucky (Jerzy in Paris 12 comes to mind). So there are only 3 remaining seeds left in the singles draw, and 2 play each other tomorrow, so we're looking at a maximum of 2 after these quarterfinals, and possible 1 if Anderson upsets Zverev... Lol, this is so ridiculous!
It never helped that JMac said Rafa was the best volleyer in tennis.
That's the problem. Rafa has decent touch at net and transitions well when he does come in, it's just that there hasn't been nearly enough evidence that he's as proficient at the net as a fair few others, Fed included. So yeah, he's definitely not bad, just more limited than the classically excellent volleyers. Hasn't done him much harm because his baseline prowess is pretty much unmatched.
Bearderer hungoverer
Are you calling for a Mullerization of the draw tomorrow???
I like it!
Well I don't know, 2011-2016 Djokovic did a good job of beating Nadal from the baseline, no? See that Australian Open 2012 final.![]()
Zverev should reach the final. I would like to see Z and Fed in the final. I'm curious to see how a HC match between them would go.
Did anyone reply to you? There's only Fed left from the top 8 options in the poll, and he had a bad match today.
Darn, those two early 500 exits are all that would separate fedr from #1 if he wins out in Montreal!Stuart FraserVerified account @stu_fraser 1m1 minute ago
ATP rankings on Monday after Montreal:
1. Murray - 7,750
2. Nadal - 7,555
3. Federer - QF 6,725 / SF 6,905 / F 7,145 / W 7,545
If he wanted to be number 1 that much he should have played 1 or 2 tournaments on clay, problem solvedDarn, those two early 500 exits are all that would separate fedr from #1 if he wins out in Montreal!
Great day of tennis yesterday! This tournament has produced some really fascinating results. Hope for the future!

Talk to me! Some of my faves have bitten the dust... but I cannot complain! The dream final is still on, although Denis the menace is igniting the crowd and that gives him special power.
Missed out on all the tennis last night. Zverev beating Kyrgios brought joy to my heart. I knew it was time. Good when you're right.![]()
Better for Zverev compared to their last grass match.
I believe he knows his body betterer than anyone except maybe that skinny balding fellow that's finally pushed his way into the player's box spotlight. Pierre so far has counseled wisely on proper scheduling for the limitations on a guy that has played 1348 matches at ATP level. If he wanted to be number 1 that much he should have played 1 or 2 tournaments on clay, problem solved![]()
Even if the draw had the top players I think we would have seen the same results. I wanna see a Federer vs Zverev final.
