There are four undefeated players in '17 left in the draw; I used one yesterday (Monfils) and will now use my R16 pick and go against the second one, leaving GOAT and BabyGOAT for when I'll need them.

R16: Another win for MILOSH!!!!

Just been playing around with the numbers - all sorts of possible ranking scenarios at the moment considering the number of people who are through, so the last few rounds will be crucial. Final opportunity for save picks as well for those who have them.

Gotta love the Slams.

I can't believe this many made it this far...the next few rounds will be a bloodbath among us all though haha.

I understand there's been quite a large exodus in the WTA SDL - well done for surviving that minefield lol.

Tbh, we could have a bloodbath at any point, we could all end up playing safe and running out of picks, or we'll end up with 20+ champions if all goes well.

I'm only still alive because I used a free pass on day 3 haha, if I somehow win that tournament it will be a miracle

This one..I agree, we'll either be down to 10 or something by the SF or have multiple champions...
 
Looks like I'm out! Even though I can't remember how, I picked Tsonga twice. Even though my backup choices went through, I'm out, right?
 
With Djokovic and Murray going out, we are probably going to have no winners rather than no survivors.
Interesting question is who's going to win AO. Federer? Kei? Stan? Tsonga? Sureshs?

I'm not sure who to pick for the QFs. It's hard with Murray and Djokovic losing. My picks were based on them getting to the final. I will just wait till the rest of the R16 matches are over. Damn you Murrovic!!

I wanted one particular result today and I got that - so I'm still feeling reasonably confident about my chances. Very interested to see who fills up the QF spots in the bottom half though, as I need one more result to happen to put my plan in action.

Yeah me too. My hypothetical path has been utterly destroyed.... Not that it matters though, as I never progress beyond QF/SF anyway!

Don't worry. This is only my third QF appearance at a slam. I have reached the QFs/SFs of other tournaments though.

It was true. I had planned to pick Federer in the QFs expecting him to lose to Djokovic in the SFs. I picked Murray in the SF which at one point in the match I thought he would lose but anyway I saved him for the SF expecting him to get to the final and lose to Djokovic.

So I was pretty lucky everything went according to plan. I haven't been able to have that luck ever since. Thats my only tournament win. But its important because it was a slam win.
 
Just sticking my nose in here in the SDL (even though I'm not participating) because I thought it might be getting interesting with Murrovic out!

I think it's interesting that not many people have been knocked out. Clearly it's because Djoko and Murray got knocked out SO much earlier than expected, so it didn't cause as much damage as it could have. So...what say you? I will be watching your picks. :p

Easiest SDL 1st week ever in a Slam - built up beautifully now. Get to see all the different routes that people took to reach this stage. Margins are so fine and every result now will be extra significant
