2017 ATP Sudden Death League: AUSTRALIAN OPEN

He must have heard your complaint. @T-Noone needs to call out A Zverev!

He was down 2 sets to one and a break in the 4th, and once again Robin Haase choked away a big upset. I seem to remember he had Andy Murray down some years ago in a major, possibly the 2010 French, and he blew that match as well. :(

At least Zverev is through though, and he keeps that section of my bracket in tact for now.

USO'11 2R, up two sets but lost 7-6 6-2 2-6 0-6 4-6.

Please don't make me regret this.
R2 Top half: Tomic
BU: Schwartzman

And if i'm lucky enough to get through.
R2 Bottom half: Simon
BU: Gasquet

Impressive. Fought from 0-4 down and his opponent served for the set. Now Kohly is up a break in the 4th!

And this is Kohlschreiber's first win at Slam level since 2015 (in the main draw). Tough pick, but I used the A >B >C logic when picking him. Jordan Thompson beat Basilashvili in Sydney, then Kohlschreiber beat Thompson in straight sets in the subsequent round

I don't remember, what happened there with the great Troicki??

Not Troicki specifically, but loads of 5 setters and chokes from MP up led to a lot of pepole getting eliminated (Vesely, Johnson, Pouille, Simon, etc. - all involved in incredibly close matches)
Troicki came from 2 sets down to win his R1 match in a 5th set tie-break (MPs saved)

ya the US Open was painful, 2 of my first 3 picks went to 5 grueling sets than Simon tanked me out...it was a massive amount of bomb outs I think only like 5 people survived to the 2nd week or something

I too was a victim of Simon on Day 4 to Lorenzi, one of the craziest matches ever with Simon saving MPs to get to a fifth set TB only to crumble. 29 SDLers went out that day, mostly from Simon but also some help from Zverev and Lopez.
