I too was a victim of Simon on Day 4 to Lorenzi, one of the craziest matches ever with Simon saving MPs to get to a fifth set TB only to crumble. 29 SDLers went out that day, mostly from Simon but also some help from Zverev and Lopez.

I switched to Simon as well. That was awful.

Sure, but that kind of risk is not neccesary in my opinion (not yet at least). I mean for ex, Federer and Berdych will play against each other in R3 (I suppose) so Berdych is a good option for R2 Top Half because you will not pick him for R3 if he plays vs Roger.

You were right, man. No second round victory is easy with Troicki. I couldn't however picked either Federer or Berdych because I am not sure who is going to win their 3rd round clash. And whoever wins their match can be used later.
