Thompson had Nishioka on the ropes in Acapulco before he injured himself. Ended up winning the 1st set but faded in the next two, copping a bagel in the final set. Don't believe he's played since. Should be interesting to see how it goes. Has Thompson recovered enough? We shall see.

I did, it was amazing! Beautiful place, helped me clear my head from work as well

As for Saves, you can win them if you finish in the Top 4 at the end of the year and/or perform the best at the WTF Bonus (Top 8) competition at the end of the year

I don't believe so. If your main pick withdraws and your BU loses you are out

If you pick before your BU loses, then yes. However, you can't repick after the BU match starts.

The only time you can change your backup pick is before that match starts, just like your main pick. If for example, your backup loses on day 1 and you didn't indicate you wanted to change that pick, and then your main pick withdraws on day 2, you would be out unfortunately.

That's what I meant, you'd have to change your backup pick before that match starts, otherwise you're locked into it.
