You should go for the title and pick Del Potro today (since you can't use Djokovic)
I'm considering doing that now. Think Rafa's match starts at 4pm so I have around 1 hour to decide whether or not I should switch again

Aren't you lucky to be late today?![]()
Good for you that you didn't pick Cilic on time.
Well, that's how it is when you go for the win. I had no clue if Djokovic could beat Nadal, but I wasn't going to risk picking Djokovic. If he beat Nadal in the semis, that would be unexpected and lead to not getting the title. So naturally, that meant I had to pick the losing semifinalist in the top half here. I assumed that would be Cilic.
Final: WInner of Nadal/Djok
Semi: Winner of Rao/Zed
QF: Cilic.
I'm betting the others thought the same thing. Sucks when you go for the win and it doesn't pay off. Oh, well! See you all in Paris!![]()

Congrats to those left in the tournament.
One thing I would like to raise here is that and I know it's hard to make picks and to remember but at the same time there are rules in place and I do feel it's important that rules are adhered to.
If people don't make a pick they are eliminated.
In the same way I feel that if someone picks late then that should count as a no pick otherwise that person has essentially had a second bite of the cherry because they didn't abide by the rules properly (accidental I am sure but as I have said rules are rules)
I do feel that this needs to be looked at to avoid any unfair loopholes.
In my opinion if you pick late then you can't change it should go as a no pick it's only if you change before the match start as Krish so brilliantly did yet again today!
Interested to hear your views guys?

I think it's best if @Krish872007 ignores my Djokovic choice, thereby assuming that I broke rule #4 and get a 'No Pick'. Thank you.
I disagree. There was no unfair advantage. You missed chances to make a pick. So what if it helped?I think it's best if @Krish872007 ignores my Djokovic choice, thereby assuming that I broke rule #4 and get a 'No Pick'. Thank you.
So much for a "brilliant change"Well done to Thiem for a fantastic win! Can't be too butthurt after that performance tbh
Are you saying that if picks aren't submitted before the very first match of the day then they shouldn't count?
Told you to pick Del Potro![]()
No, he is saying that if you pick a player that's already playing, then you are out.
Congrats to those left in the tournament.

Now this actually sounds fair and maybe can be stated as another reason for having a backup!I don't see why in that case if you make a mistake your backup wouldn't just count if you are picking the backup at the same time as the main pick. but thats just me
If he loses it won't make a difference (took a gamble that Del Potro would win it all here, so we'll see)
I would have taken a bigger risk if it was a Slam probably
Just to clarify! There is absolutely nothing unfair in whah @jspennington did and that's not what I have said.I disagree. The match has started. So his pick became invalid for late picking. So he has to pick from the remaining matches. I don't see anything unfair in that.

My only question here is in a general sense at what point can we stop changing our picks! Should there be a cut of point?
I like the suggestion that the BU is automatically used @jspennigton played his backup so would have been fine under that rule anyway.
Step 1: make BU a match that already played.Just to clarify! There is absolutely nothing unfair in whah @jspennington did and that's not what I have said.

So if the BU has already played then the player is out.Step 1: make BU a match that already played.
Step 2: Profit.
Because then it is literally the same as picking a new match. So if the BU has already played then the player is out.
I don't see why this should be that different to a No pick
...So Djokovic must not win the title in order to someone win this tournament.
I vote for Die Thiem Methode so a pit stop in Nice and or Geneva on the way would get me betterer prepared.Let's all prepare early to bite the Coupe des Mousquetaires.

Looking at the league file the possibility to win the tournament is just left for @rainingaces and @tennis08tarheels .
@rainingaces can chose between Isner/Thiem and @tennis08tarheels is left with Isner/Zverev/Thiem.
Let's see if one of you can snatch the trophy![]()

I was j/k. A bit of rest is great! No. Couple of days rest. Then qualifiers start.![]()
What? Another SDL controversy? I am shock and appall!![]()
Yes you're right.@Sereger also has Thiem/Isner/Del Potro remaining if I'm reading it correctly.
