2017 ATP Sudden Death League: World Tour Finals (TOP 8)

Dimitrov is going to win tomorrow, he doesn't want to play against Roger in the semifinals. But then, he sure as hell doesn't want to play against Roger in the final (?)

Im pretty sure whether he wins or loses he wins his group and therefore wont play Federer until the final
 
Well that was not a cool meltdown by Sascha :/ dont remember him playing this bad...

Not a bad pick, but still - Dimitrov is in some scary form in this tournament, what are the chances of him having a poor day tomorrow?
Wondering whether to take the pretty much definite victory & the extra points or risk it all for a chance at another big title.

Dimitrov had confortable wins over Goffin (match-up issue) and Busta (when he was already qualified and played freely) but he struggled against Thiem (who is in really bad form) when the group was starting so I think he could feel a bit of pressure now that it's win or go home. Who knows...

It's catch 22. You can make arguments for both the players. That's why I said it's 50-50. Dimi choked against Isner and almost did against Thiem. It would be interesting to see how he plays against Sock when the going gets tough.

Well a month ago I'd say he was firmly on my no pick list and even after Paris I'd have thought he'd go 0-3 in the group stage in London. But here he is in the semis and he's got a good h2h versus dimitrov. Not to mention he played federer pretty tight in the group stage.

Who knows?!?!?!?

Exactly. When he qualified after winning Paris I was very surprised because i feel like hes been horrible all year, but he played well in Paris and hes defied all my expectations so far this tournament. Hes playing with a total nothing to lose attitude and he could well pull off knocking off Dimitrov. Dimitrov looks so solid but we've seen fall apart randomly before so its possible it happens here.

Well i crashed and burned. I honestly just didnt have a great feeling about fed, but surely thought he get past goffin and lose the final (to either sock or dimitrov).

Anyways. A great season and once again many thanks to all that organize. I really appreciate the effort it takes to run the totally awesome game.

We followed you out of the tournament quite swiftly to be fair.
I would never have called a DImitrov vs Goffin final at any point prior to it actually happening, but here we are.

Really well done on a magnificent 2017 season, enjoy the break and see you in the New Year!

So, Sock flattered to deceive. His strategy of losing the second set was bound to catch up with him. Good win for Dimitrov. I hope he wins the title.
