Zverev has lost too many times from a set up recently to pass on such a great opportunity. Got Cilic at 3,2 odds.

Gutsy comeback by Zverev. He is tired but the kid has some maturity in his head. This first match was basically the decider who will make it to SF because they are not expected to beat Federer. It looks like it will be Federer and Zverev from Becker Group.

A mediocre match today with a fine ending if not the best tennis from Cilic and a long match by Milan standards. The Milan scoring alternative to 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 in 2 hours and 6 minutes:
Zverev 4-2 first set (had the early break)
Cilic 4-2 2nd set (breaks late in 2nd with the 2nd BP a deciding point)
3rd set tiebreaker (7 games total)
Cilic 4-1 4th set with break to 3-1
5th set Zverev breaks early for 2-0 lead (no challenge necessary of overrule) and his final hold takes the set 4-1 and the match provided he won the 3rd set breaker

potentially the same amount of games for Milan scoring with a breaker in place of the late Zverev break of Cilic at love for the match. Cilic could have clinched the Milan scoring match in 4 sets if he'd won the 3rd set breaker. Probably would have been a much more intense match with a lot less Zverev tanking. Cilic won just two points less in the match today. Under Milan pressure one wonders if Cilic would have done as well. With the match time probably a touch quicker one wonders how Zverev might have held up at the end. 5 sets with tiebreaker trumps 3 sets with no breaker.
