one of the best things was to watch him win his first Qitos title with the TT crew up till late on this side of the pond

My personal story...did his racquets at a Futures tournament in '06 when he was already older than everyone in the draw. He made it to the final so I had a lot of time to talk to him as well as I could, not being bilingual and his English wasn't great either. We managed to smile and laugh when I pointed out his surname (went purely by Estrella then) translates to my surname (Starr).

Very down to earth, no airs.

Kyrgios is a far bigger dick than Tomic is + I really feel for his childhood background and the things he's gone through.
In saying that, I wasn't fully anti Kyrgios. Would've been happy if he got the win. I don't despise him but I also don't openly cheer for him.
I want Nick to win a slam, I don't wish anything bad on him.
