5-1 Chung after Dimitrov makes 2 consecutive forced errors, then Chung closes out the game with a forced error on Dimitrov's backhand.

Dimitrov underestimated Chung, obviously he was fooled by Chung's 105th ranking, Chung is much better than his ranking if he paid any attention to this guy he would have known that.

Chung-Dimitrov summary:

Chung playing really well. Placing his shots well and making Dimitrov work for it. However, Dimitrov is making more UEs than FEs. It seems to be less of what Hyeon Chung is doing, and rather what Grigor Dimitrov isn't. If he gets his head back in the game, Dimitrov can definitely recover.

Too many UEs off Dutra Silva's forehand. Rogerio serving at 0-2, 40-40. Simon getting some great depth on his shots. Another forehand error, and Simon has BP.

Simon attacks the 2nd serve and has the easiest of backhands, but nets it. Deuce.

Bloody hell, last time I checked the score in Dimi's match it was 1-1 in the 1st set. Now I look and see he lost it 6-1 and has been broken at the beginning of the 2nd!

Simon gets that triple break, and takes the 2nd set 6/1. Cruising. It's been a great performance so far. Crowd enjoying it. Simon usually always seems to be the favourite on smaller, outer courts. You watch him live in person, and then you really realize how ridiculous his tennis is.

Unusual for American players to have good backhands but Escobedo can really hammer it. I am sitting close to baseline 3rd row, can feel the power he channels in couple of them.

First set to Double E vs Ferrer. It will be hilarious if Escobedo comes out of nowhere to outshine all the USTA players.

Dimitrov should've come in like 3 or 4 times at deuce, but what a forehand from Chung to break, in trouble now 15-30.

Oh man, brilliant backhand from Simon, catching Dutra Silva completely off guard. BP. DF from Rogerio, and he breaks for 5-1, 3rd set.

Serving for the match.

Simon wins 6/4 6/1 6/1. Extremely solid match from the Frenchmen, everything working for him. One of his best matches of the last year or so. Hopefully he builds on this, and plays a great match against most probably Raonic. Different kettle of fish obviously, but still....
