Any new 3 pack bags coming up from Babolat or Wilson or any other brands in 2017?
There are some Babolat and Head Bags coming that will be available in 3 packs. Nothing new from Wilson that I have heard or seen.
Will they be coming during the Australian Open or after? Thanks
The Head bags should be here and ready to go January 19th. The Babolat bags should be here around the same time.
I appreciate it, thanks!
@TW Staff what about yonex? Any update soon?
Nothing new that we have heard about from Yonex yet!
Are there going to me new Pure Drive Babolat bags? Thanks!
Yes, there will be 3 new Pure Drive bags launching end of January- 12 pack, 6 pack, and back pack.
What about the 2.0 version of this bag?: http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/Nike_Court_Tech_10_Racquet_Bag_Navy/descpageBGNIKE-NCT1RBNV.html
I see Nike is updating their bags to 2.0.
I am not seeing anything in our system. However, let me check with our buyer to confirm one way or the other.
Thanks so much...my current 9 pack Pure Drive bag always seemed small for my sticks.
Nike has dropped the racquet bag so there will not be a 2.0 version.
Massive bummer. They claimed they were "serious" about tennis equipment in this video just 2 short years ago:
@TW Staff does anyone at the warehouse or on the playtest team use the Nike Court Tech as their bag of choice? It's pretty popular on the forum here, I have one myself. Great bag. My only complaint is lack of storage space for frames. 6 maximum in my experience.
My guess is the $150 price point was too steep for your average joe player that could spend $70-85 on a quality bag from a major frame manufacturer. Had Nike priced the CT 1.0 at let's say $80-$90 and stayed below the $100 threshold I think this would be the most popular racket bag out there.
None of the playtesters use the bag. We typically just use either TW bags or bags that match our racquets. I do agree, it was a cool concept for a bag and we all found it very interesting.
