NO!!!! That is what makes Shapo so special. He wants to be aggressive and comes to net even though his volley is still poor. Would you rather watch Thiem play? Shapo has more game and variety than Thiem will ever have. And he's exciting to watch....!

But Shapovalov constantly tried to hit winners right off of service returns.
That's 90s tennis on real fast courts.
Look at the way Federer makes safe block chip returns on manarinno serves.
Im not sure shapovalov is playing optimal tennis on modern slow conditions.

It was a combination of both. Mannar played really well, and Fed was playing pretty poorly.

both, federer was pretty patchy. mannarino played well, especially in the 1st and 3rd sets.
