These errors are so bad, I feel like I'm watching an ITF tournament. I don't know how some of you are going for her. Yes she hits great winners but my god, a slam champion who hits this many awful errors? Just god no.

Muguruza had to play lights out to win against Serena last year, this is crap.

By contrast, if Halep wins this she'll likely not crack the 10 winner mark so it goes both ways.

Agree on that.

In all honesty, big strong players doing meaningless bashing trying to overpower opponents through the middle of the court has been the dominant playing style for years on the WTA. To each their own, but not my cup of tea.

Halep may get passive at times, but at least she relies a lot on point construction and opening up the court and so on, not just wailing through the middle. Henin in my eyes was the ultimate in terms of a pleasing style.

Does anyone know the identity of the woman who pointed to her temple when Ostapenko hit a backhand winner to hold serve?
