Nadal desperately needs rest. Is there any way he can skip Rome?

If Nadal wins Madrid and gets to SF Rome, there is 0% he will win RG. Doesn't matter what streak your on, there's no way to win RG when you're that knackered. For proof, just look what happened to Djokovic in RG 2011. He entered the tournament tired from wins and got exposed by Roger. Believe me - Rafa needs rest before taking on RG, or he will be exposed by Roger like happened to Novak.

Nadal in 2 close sets! However, who knows with Novak, he can flick a switch sometimes and return to top form. Can never count him out but think Rafa is the better and stronger player right now!

If he wins Madrid, he guarantees 4th seed in Paris. I think he'd then skip Rome.

If only this were the case. If he wins Madrid, he'll definitely play Rome. Hopefully he can get another lucky draw there or go out early to someone not named Djokovic. If he somehow wins Madrid and goes deep or, God forbid, wins Rome, it will take an extremely easy first week at RG to give him a chance at La Decima hat trick.

Going with Nadal in 3, Djokovic has been a little better lately and he'll likely play much better against Nadal than against the rest of the field, he usually does. However, I think Nadal has been playing too well lately so I'll pick him in a close three setter.

Nolé Djokovic is going to punctuate the Nadal fans' fool's paradise.

To be clear, this is not a jinx poast for Nolé. But I've long been convinced that – despite Nadal's impressive results on clay this year on paper – it has been nothing but a fool's paradise waiting to come down.

Expect Nolé to expose Rafael's cumbersome movement.

I expect Djokovic to take it in three. As the story has gone lately, Nadal pretty much needs to win the first set and take it in straights. Nadal in two or three is possible if Nadal takes the first set, but I feel like the script has been written since the end of 2013. Nole in three.

edit: Nadal will win if Djokovic throws up on court (or maybe Djokovic will throw up if Nadal wins).
