Extremely disappointed with his comment but I also hope nick learns from this and develops Novak's 2015-2016 mindset and learns by watching the 2015 us open final.
Its not Fed's job to opinion on a crowd. So dont count on it.

Sorry, you've lost me. Who was the cheater exactly? The player who awarded the point to Federer on a out serve?Booing a cheater is just fine. I would too if I paid to watch a genuine match and ended up watching a cheater. The Cheater will get the point.
Yes, it is. It's called sportsmanship and thanking the fans for their support at the same time. Its not Fed's job to opinion on a crowd. So dont count on it.

I didn't see Kyrgios acting like a clown when the incident occurred. He was angered, rightfully so.I didnt say that and if that was what your summary of my comment, then I am not sure who can help you here. Read my lips :Nick was acting like a CLOWN.
I dont have to wish, you are showing it big time.
Even at age 35/36 Federer essentially outserves a top 3 server on tour because the gap in returning is bigger than the gap in serving. Such is the beauty of his serve game+first return game which has basically made him all his money in his career because combined, I don't think anyone even comes close to it and it takes a perfect serving day from a Karlovic/Raonic/Roddick to outserve Federer (and even then I daresay he's outserved them most of the time)![]()

I am showing that you caught me wrong several times? Do you feel like pointing the quotes out?

Oh, I got it all right. It's just that I don't understand your rationale nor do I want to.Too bad you didnt get it. Wont help if you can't read.
It is the sportsmanship thing to NOT endorse the crowd's behavior, which Fed did with that comment.
Oh, I did get it all right. Thanks for your help but I am all set.Too bad you didnt get it. Wont help if you can't read.

Agree to disagree it is.I saw Kyrgios was shouting and jumping at the fan. Thats a clown to me.
Agree to disagree it is.
I'm waiting for you to point out my quotes that were wrong BTW

Kyrgios will learn. He has time on his side, I just hope he continues to get the right advice.Federer is a comic genius. Way to stick it to Kyrgios with a big smile on his face, as innocent as a lamb. This is how you work a crowd.
“Thank you guys, that was a nice atmosphere,” Federer said during his on-court interview.
Nope. I am all set. Thank you so much for your informed post.Nice fail.

If Nick wants to be loved by the crowd he has to do things that will make them fall in love with him. Just like Federer did back in 2004-2005. He can start by not acting like a thug.
https://www.logicallyfallacious.com/tools/lp/Bo/LogicalFallacies/40/Appeal-to-PopularityThe crowd agreed with me. Thats good enough to prove you are wrong.
I dont need to spend time looking for your posts.

But lets have this discussion again after the men's final and compare notes about sportsmanship, whoever wins or loses. Deal?I dont see Nadal practice what you just said. Thats Sad to you as well, no?
All bark and no bite you are.

Hewitt is a great influence on him, plus the sports psychologist who is helping him out but he needs someone with the mindset of a champion but not a complete robot.I wonder if he will get a coach.

I watched most of the match but had to leave for a bit. There are so many posts here, can someone summarize this? Someone cheated? I came back to see him yell the F word at the crowd. What did I miss? Thanks.
Apparently someone yelled out in the middle of the point when nick was serving 5-4 in the third set TB. That's it.I watched most of the match but had to leave for a bit. Not a soothsayer and can't read into the future that far ahead. Referring to Miami final though that too is technically in the future as well.Proof you dont know what happens in Madrid.

You can read my post again.watching it right now.
4-4 there was a late call and the call stood right.
Layani says 5-5 Kyrgios and Kyrgios serves.
I am not sure what you are referring to. You made that up.
Interested to see their press conferences. Usually how long until they're out on YouTube? Anyone?
What could he say about the crowd? I mean seriously, what could he say?!Interesting response from Federer regarding a crowd that was booing, yelling, whistling and interrupting during Nick's service games.
In your legend's own words: "Nice atmosphere".
Money (nor GS titles) can buy class.
Officially off the FedExpress bandwagon. Enjoy, folks.
I just think the consistent cheers for missed serves is the worst...again, did it to Berdych too, as opposite from Nick behavior-wise as you can get...the guy isn't doing anything there but trying to compete...the other stuff he's definitely in on it himself, working against the crowd
If Nick thinks that he doesn't need a psychologist, then he is deluded. He simply cannot allow someone from the crowd to break his concentration if he wants to win the big titles.
Anyway, I'm glad Fed pulled it out, great nerves and overall mental strength. Another Fedal final!
What could he say about the crowd? I mean seriously, what could he say?!
LOL, that's putting it subtly. Fed is the crowd favourite wherever he goes. Not even Nadal can compete, AO 17 Final is a great example there. Overwhelming crowd support.I'm going to guess this might be one of the quotes you'd be most interested in:

Fair point, like Novak in the 2015 us open final. Absolutely. What could he say about the crowd? I mean seriously, what could he say?!
Nick, by smashing the racquet, proved their approach towards him. Plus, Fed is very popular, and his opponents should be ready for that.
I hope you're right because it's better to have an even match.Im pretty sure he aint
What could he say about the crowd? I mean seriously, what could he say?!
Yes, two. This was an amazing match.Did Fed have Mp(s) in second set?
Fair point, like Novak in the 2015 us open final. Absolutely.
Yeah, it's absurd to think that a guy with Kyrgios' game will only win one slam.So who will win slams? Somebody has to after Fedal/Djokovic/Murray. Kyrgios and Zverev are looking like the best prospects at the moment.
