Teaser/Trailer from MUG city ?

The scary part is they can make draws like this at every M1000 and slams and get the result they want.

Especially if Djoko-Murray are absent. The game needs Djokurray.

That was some crappy semifinal. Glad it's over, lols. 35UEs vs 19Ws from Fog!
Rafa should have finished the 2nd set earlier. Fog gave him a lot of chances in his service games.

Tricky for rafa to think whom will be a better opponent to face in the final. On one hand its a guy he has lost 3 back to back matches and once he dominated him badly, on the other hand is a guy who isnt a good matchup in any way for nadal and is playing superbly.I would think despite federer s last few losses nadal would have a decent chance in these conditions especially match will be played at the time it was played today for rafa and that surely isnt a good time to play aggressive tennis considering the heat and slowness of the cpurt.

Agreed, I think he'd rather play Roger. Lots and lots of mileage put up on Rogers body this past month. His serve has suffered as a result which is usually his greatest weapon against Rafa. Rafa would really struggle with Nick and I think Nick would be the small favorite actually.

ye i concur

Federer appears to be waning for the moment. I'd have Kyrgios as the marginal favourite heading into the final and Federer as the slight underdoge.

Another great win for Rafa. Nice to see him consistently going deep in tournaments. The feeling of a potential early upset is easing with each semi / final he reaches. Would love to see him pick up his first Miami on Sunday. And I want Rog in the final!

How can he beat Nadal sunday if he doesn't beat the Fedmaster tonight?

Kyrgios-Federer is a tough one to call. It could be a quick Federer clinic where Federer shows who's boss, a hard fought three set match with three tie-breakers or any other combo. A lot will depend on which version of Kyrgios shows up, i.e. the clown or a player who wants to prove himself vs the very best and prove to his hostile haters on social media that he's the real deal.

LOL. Which would you settle for if you can't have both?

Nicky looms LARGE.

That QF last night was some Next Gen Right Now stuff.

Was a great match against AZ and I hope we get to see that match-up a lot in the future. Nick will hopefully bring the same effort and focus tonight and if he does he'll have a good shot of reaching the final.

Good and focused work from Nadal, who reaches the Miami final for the 5th time. He lost all his previous finals here, so maybe 5th time lucky?

2005, 2008, 2011, 2014, 2017.

Right on schedule.

Oh wow! Every 3rd year? That's some weird coincidence. Let's hope the result isn't

Djokovic and Murray are probably home breaking racquets, since there out of the picture.,,Hopefully with clay court season starting, Monaco, Muta Madrid, Rome they will both back from arm injuries and ready to carry the battle on.

Cheers
3Fees :)

@90's Clay , is there any other example in history of a M1000 finalist walking through MUGcity to make the finals ? Any references ?
PK->Mahut->Sock->Fog is a challenger level draw.

Wodgie is taking advantage of the same MUG era that big time declined Rafa is. No excuses.

Looking like another Geriatric final featuring the declined 40 year olds
