Could be on for another Djokodal SF in Rome - same side of the draw there as well.

QF seeded matchups

Murray - Raonic
Wawrinka - Cilic
Nadal - Thiem
Nishikori - Djokovic (only if Kei plays).

Lol, Seppi's reaction to landing in Nadal's section was hilarious. Could meet him in Round 2.

Lot of in-form players landing in the bottom half.

Cuevas, Carreno Busta, Nadal, Djokovic, Kyrgios, Bautista Agut

I'd love to se Raonic vs Karlovic and the Zeverev Bros square up against each other. That would be so much fun.

Tough one. I would certainly favour DelPo if the match gets tight.
Schwartzman will be a tricky test for Sock.
Karlovic vs Haas will be a battle of the oldies.

Yes to all. Dimitrov blew his chances against Thiem yesterday. His confidence may have taken a hit. A quick look at the draw suggests the early rounds of SDL will be quite tricky.

Goffin in the top half for a change. Not complaining about that.

Again Djok-Nadal in the same half...
Dream draw for Goffin being in Wawa's quarter. Cilic a bit tough for R16, but the Belgian Prince is 4-1 versus Marin.:p With Murray in top half he may be set for a run to the final.:D

Thiem has been majorly hosed. If he gets by Coric today he plays in form Cuevas in Madrid SF and guess who his likely first opponent in Rome will be?
Cuevas:rolleyes:
then Pouille who beat Thiem in their last match.
Nadal QF:eek:
Might be easy street after that:rolleyes:

I guess its a good think Nishikori stayed in because otherwise Goffin would be in place of Thiem.;) Its hard to complain too much about Thiem's draw as the only joke in the 9-12 seed range is Berdbrain. The Austrian and Belgian Princes look like they'll have gotten plenty of practice with Rafa before RG.:D

Nadal or Djokovic to win, Djokovic has a legion of Italian fans which could get behind him.

i like the potential zverev/murray matchup in the top half in the 3rd round.

Djoko with another joke of a draw with the only complaint being Rafa in his half again. Seriously doubt hampered Kygrios makes it to him in R16, but LULZ if that happens. Nishikori deservedly stuck with Djokovic again after dumping their match in Madrid. Nishikori deserves to be in with Nadal given all his withdrawal antics of late.

Kyrgios fairly well hosed with this draw:
RBA first (top 20 player)
PCB next (top 20 player)
If he mananges that he gets his pigeon.:D

Murray smoked him at Auz beginning of 2015. Murray should be able to handle the Zverev first serve very well, but Zverev can't complain about his draw. He'd rather have Wawrinka (who he owns), but he should have an easy path to the Murray showdown. The whole top half is fairly benign with opportunities for ARV, Zverev, and Goffin.

GOOD NEWS. ROME HAS AN SPECIAL EXEMPT SLOT AND ITS WAITING FOR CORIC.:p

Indeed.

The Sad press conference yesterday.

I'd like to think it will reignite the Muzziah. Of course, the body doesn't just boom like that. Not for everybody, not when you just want it to. Hopefully.
