Man, he is so good with short balls. He does to them what the big four do, rarely does he give the opponent another look at the point, whereas others are maybe a bit more hesitant.

F--t it, I'm a convert. On the Shapo train now. This kid has a seriously aesthetically pleasing game and great instinct to boot. And handling the big stage with a great sense of maturity.

Damn, watching this match makes me bittersweet. I grew up watching the guys like Federer, Nadal, Tsonga, Nalbandian, Del Potro, Djokovic, Murray, Roddick, Gonzalez, etc play. Now all these young guys are emerging and will soon replace all that I've known in the tennis world, growing up.

obviously things that need to be worked on/cleaned up in general but i definitely think this kid has the right combo of talent and attitude, something i dont think we've seen in a while on the atp side.
