its funny how i dont feel nothing for nishikori anymore. i wouldnt mind if he never returned. at the beginning i liked his technique and clean strokes but now i dont care anymore.

Shapovalov wins! Another great win for him, adding Nishikori's scalp to his new collection to go with Nadal's, Delpo's and Tsonga's. I want him to get into top 10 by the end of 2018.

ATP scene is rapidly changing. Nishikori and Raonic failing, Murray, Novak, Nadal and Stan all injured. Youngsters finally stepping up and winning some titles with Tiafoe and Khachanov winning last week. Indian Wells and Miami will be interesting, hope to see some good breakthroughs.

Everything considered solid match for Shapo. First set was similar to Delray Beach - solid serving and nothing else. After that it was kinda opposite. Solid ground game and return yet bad serving (DFs and really low percentage of 1st serve - about 40 %). Was enought in the end. Nishi was not in his greatest form ever but did not played badly.

On Thiem he probably goes, really looking for the contest of power forehands. Given it is hardcourt Denis should have solid chance.

Time to bump the L O S T Boys thread, no?

Looks like Grampa and the Kids for the rest of the year. ;)

Not the best of matches.
Nishikori form ended up worse than expected. He's not winning anything with his serve and forehand like this.

Will likely be outside the top 30 after Miami.
Never expected to see Nishi with a big chance to lose the No.1 Japan spot to Sugita...

Just caught the highlights. My goodness...the boy is kicking ass.

Nishi looking despondent. The love of the game is not there right now.
