This is a 48 player field, 16 byes. Anyone have the full entry list?

I'm voting for Kyrgios bc I think he's in decent shape rn.

I highly expect Zerev to win, I'm just hoping Murray can get more than 1 or 2 matches under his belt here.

1 match would be a loss, 2 matches would be okay and 3 would be fantastic. Not expecting more than 3 max at the moment though.

Maybe he'll have a decent chance in the first tound because he is not going to play against any of the 16 seeds. Then if he wins he'll have a tough match for sure.

Totally forgot it's a 48 draw

They're useless to play as a non seed. Basically needlessly tough 250 with small bonus for winning 4th and 5th match, unless you win it.

It's a 500, but the point structure for matches won is the same until you win 4, a 500 semi is 180, a 250 final is 150, so the 250 is easier points, unless you're seeded and start in R32.
Gotcha.

Overall it's weird that the tour is so inconsistent. Most 500s are 32, a few 48/64. Most 1000s 56/64, two of them 96/128. Should be more tiers imo.

lolwat. I knew that some 250s have 32 and that Queens used to be a 250 on 48, but what the heck.
Honestly the only thing that´s missing is differences in Slam draws

Although it needs to be said, Wimbledon is the only one with Bo5 qualies

Wimbledon also hosts the qualis on a different site. Then you have the question of tiebreaker 5th set.

If you go back in history some of the slams were 64 or had seeds byed into like QFs. US Open at one point had Bo3 early rounds.

Kyrgios retired from BB&T , Norrie 75 30

"Nick Kyrgios was booed off the court in his quarter-final at the Atlanta Open as he retired hurt.

Just a day after the Australian told reporters if he's playing his best it would be "tough to lose", Kyrgios had to call it quits after reportedly suffering a hip injury.

Struggling with his movement, Kyrgios saw the trainer in the first set and underwent treatment on the court.

The effort disappeared late in the opening set as opponent and world number 73, Cameron Norrie, took the opener."

Doubtful he'll be playing

Cheers

Lol...it does look like someone is doing this deliberately, doesn't it?
I don't really understand why they're doing it. At Queen's and Eastbourne, both players could probably pull in crowds on their own (obviously Murray at far greater numbers). I'm not sure why there would be a market for an all-British match-up in Washington.

In any case, hopefully Murray is physically ready to get some wins. He didn't look terrible on grass, and it's a month later, so he should hopefully be playing at a higher level now.

Very rough for Stan. His level is still a question mark.
He should get past qualifier, but Nishikori will be a big test. Even in his old form, outside of slams it was almost a 50/50 matchup.

It's just chance.
