2012 champ Kaia Kanepi taking it to 2017 champ Karolina Pliskova. Up 2-0 on the first.

Kanepi only returned from injury in June, made an ITF final, made the US Open QF as a qualifier, qualified for Premier Moscow, won another ITF title and a few other results. She fought back from the low rankings and played the small stuff, even after making a slam QF! Impressive.

Kanepi with neck, a thigh, wrist and more all taped up. She's really had it rough with injuries but when she's on, man she's on.

ive only got dimitrov and kyrgios left. Im picking dimitrov, but if for some reason he pulls out i want kyrgios as my backup so i still advance. I know the rules say you can't advance by walkover until the semis, so i would think this is allowed. How about it @Krish872007 ?

In that case, isn't it superfluous? A Dimitrov withdrawal would make Kyrgios your default pick.

That's true, but i would guess it makes it easier for @Krish872007 to not have to go back and see if i (and anyone else) still had kyrgios available and no bottom half picks.

I believe it's automated to avoid the need for that manual scan.
