2018 ATP Sudden Death League: Indian Wells

Still not completely sure of a Querrey win, but it's basically suicidal to pick a streaky Frenchman at this point, we got burned soo many times last season because of Pouille, Tsonga and Gasquet

I switched away from Querrey purely because the top seeded Americans have just been woeful this year. Thought Pouille was consistent enough last month to deliver at least one win...

Bhambri knows how to beat French players in the US lol.

Now you have a chance to become the n° 1, and it's again in IW

Yeah, if I want to take over the spot right after IW I think I need to reach the semis now. No big deal if I don't, I would say I'm the massive favourite to grab it after Miami considering what's just happened.

Still wondering whether to switch away from Querrey but I can't see many "safe" picks other than DelPo in this round.

There's still a mini landmine in the form of De Minaur there. I thought Novak was a safe pick but he's in a bucket load of trouble too.

The problem was that you weren't here last year when a frenchman lost against the same guy in a hard court tournament played in the US. It was déjà vu all over again.

R3; Kevin Anderson
BU; Querrey

Says alot about this tournament that Kevin Anderson is the safest pick besides Fedr.

^^^That's why I'm not using them yet. Leo Mayer on HC is not a safe pick but he once held MP on the mighty fedr at Shanghai so hopefully he beats Daniel-san!

I know I just got burnt by a Frenchie, but no love for Monfils?

Had Pouille came through my plan was Monfils -> winner of Berdych/Chung -> Anderson -> Delpo -> Fedr

Yep, that's my thinking too. Monfils is a useful plug at this stage.
I too have a Save Pick which I am considering using. Would prefer to save it for a Slam but I'm not defending much at RG or Wimbledon anyway so it's all about prioritising at this stage.

Herbert has been decent in IW so far, and Monfils is Monfils.. They never played a match so that make things more difficult for me to decide if Monfils is a safe pick.

Chardonnay gets Mannarino drunk, non? 3-0 h2h without dropping a set.

Oh boy! That's why I hate changing picks. Zverev is in a pretty big funk losing to Sousa. Hope he can snap out of it.

Man, I hate Sousa @RS92 :D

@Krish872007 You were so modest to call him only an *******. If you have watched the 3rd set, you would have called him so many different things.
When he was leading 4-1 30-40 in 3rd set, I was already planning my 3rd round pick. Argh..:mad::mad:
