It's all about points for The Race for me. With the top 4 that I think can win still available, I'm taking surer picks earlier than later and risk losing the chance for the big points at the end. Before Day 1, I was about 800 points out with just three tournaments left, thanks to zero points last week (Coric and Haase 1R upsets). With everyone above me out, I need to cut that down to 200 or so to have a chance.

Oh I see, I am new to playing SDL. Only my fourth tournament or so. So far I enjoy playing WTA only since less to keep track of and lesser players. This has been kinda fun though.

I figure you didn't wanna get knocked out this round so went for safer Djokovic pick. I went with riskier picks earlier like Wu and Chung and now they are both out after their wins.
