Welcome to the 18th official event of the 2018 ATP Sudden Death League season and the first event of the Grass Court Season:

Mercedes Cup
Stuttgart, Germany
Grass Court
11 - 17 June, 2018

RULES (ATP 250 Event):

1. You pick one player who you think is going to win. It's a knock out-system: if the player you picked wins, you're through to the next round. If he loses, you're out.

2. You pick one player per round

3. You can pick a player only ONCE. Obviously it's important to make smart choices in order to get far. If you have no picks remaining, you're eliminated from the competition.

4. You can't pick a player from a match that has started already.

5. You cannot advance to the next round via a walkover since it is hard to know exactly when someone announced they were pulling out HOWEVER this rule does not apply once you reach the semifinals

6. Since you can no longer win a match by a walkover it is highly advised that you make a back-up pick to your main pick - when listing your picks make sure you specify which is your back-up.

7. If the player you picked retires during the match, you're out. If he retires before the match, your back-up pick will be used.

8. If the opponent of the person you picked withdraws and is replaced by a lucky loser your original pick will stand unless you specifically change it.

9. NEVER edit your pick. If you want to change your pick, please quote your old pick and choose a new player. Edited posts will not be taken into consideration.

SCORE FOR TOURNAMENT
1 correct pick: 30
2 correct picks: 60
3 correct picks: 100
4 correct picks: 150
WINNER: 250

RANKING UPDATES POST-FRENCH OPEN:

RACE TO LONDON

1 @Krish872007 - 5,000
2
@underground - 4,230
3
@gn - 4,160
4
@TheMuzziah - 4,130
5
@Gytha - 4,080
6
@tennis08tarheels - 4,045
7
@Aussie Darcy - 3,800
8
@Forehand_Slice - 3,540

Well done once again to @Forehand_Slice for winning RG 2018 and jumping up into the Top 8 in the Race. As you can see, it's still reasonably close in the middle spots. Not been that many drastic changes since before RG, but underground is back up to #2 in the Race. Full Race Rankings viewable HERE.

WIMBLEDON RACE

This has been compiled using the Wimbledon seeding formula, and reflects points collected since last year's Wimbledon with an adjustment for the previous 2 years' grass points. Still a bit of scope for movement before the tournament starts as we have 3 warm-up tournaments to get through.

OVERALL RANKINGS

1. @Krish872007 - 9,290
2. @Pagoo - 7,870
3. @gn - 7,620
4. @stringertom - 7,445
5. @tennis08tarheels - 7,375
6. @TheMuzziah - 7,245
7. @Aussie Darcy - 6,930
8. @luiz_gustavo - 6,565

Looks like I'm guaranteed at least 1 more week at #1, but should hold the spot until at the end of Wimbledon unless @gn sweeps all the grass tune-up events (Stuttgart, Halle, Queen's) and I lose R1 in all of them.

Full Rankings viewable HERE.
