Sugita now up 2-1 in sets after dropping the opener. Seppi must channel his inner Fognini. Somehow, Forza Andreas doesn't roll off the tongue though.
 
Order temporarily restored in Astana as the great Borat Nationattempts to sweep Day 1 singles...Kuku is level 1-1 and up a break.

Sugita ekes out aTB win in the fifth over Seppi. Italy/Japan 1-1.

You will be served but only after just rewards are delivered to all true believers in young Russian boys and old Kazakh warriors Kuku like bird.
 
Tajikistan have lost both their singles rubbers against Guam today, 0-6 0-6. One of Tajikistans players was just 14 years old!

They did manage to win a game in their singles rubbers yesterday, against Mongolia.

With a population of 8.7 million, Tajikistan may be the worst tennis playing in the world, relative to their population.

Borat will watch them and when a little boy or girl advances to intermediate, much Kazakh currency will be thrown their way to lure them to the playgrounds of Astana.

Lack of physical and mental endurance.

I think Zverev has entitlement issues, and when lesser players get into his head he gets afraid to lose and he starts playing worse than he should. Then starts grinding and that whole routine has been figured out by everyone last year.

you have a good point there with mental issues against other young guns.

if Norrie wins then Jamie Murray takes the dubs and Kyle Edmund returns Sunday for final day showdown.
 
If Edmund did return it would probably be for rubber 5 so Norrie would also have to beat Ramos.
 
Lost in the shadows, Shapo is looking comfortable on the dirt and under the pressure to level the tie. Up two sets, 4&4. I believe he hasn't been broken yet. Obviously a big step down in competition from Cilic to Galovic but he's handling being Canada #1 pretty well.
 
Wow - Shapovalov was on fire today! He made shots that even made the announcers scratch their heads. Yes, he showed some nerves but worked it out. That is a pattern that he doesn't want to get into, but I believe he'll work it out. His net game has really improved, and damn, he can play on clay!:D:D:D:D

Well he didn't play a top player. I'll wait for him to play Coric before I get hyped about his clay game.
