Cilic choked again?! A set and a break up and then 6-1 up in the breaker but loses 7 points in a row?! As if 2016 wasn't enough already, this dude is literally a choking machine.

The tiebreaker (3rd set) between Tiafoe and Coric - was really good. Ended 13-11 for Tiafoe.

One more set for USA to complete the epic comeback. But still think Coric may take this.

Despite the spirited fight back by the USA, Croatia completely own them in the Davis Cup having now won 5 straight ties against them; 2003, 2005, 2009, 2016 and 2018.

They are surely the greatest sporting nation on the planet per capita, as highlighted by the last few months when they reached the FIFA World Cup final and have now reached their 2nd Davis Cup final in 3 years.

If France wins the final they will become the most successful European nation in DC.Right now France and GB have 10 DC titles.

Tiafoe proved why he was a mistake to put in davis cup. he can't win in pressure situations. he should not play davis cup again

I think we all know that he'd only have been asked for doubles. But since he just won 2 slams with Mike, idk why you'd reject him for doubles. Harrison was hardly a slam dunk.

Not rejecting but just saying USA won the match anyway. Harrison also won GS in clay (French Open).

But it seems that Sock chose to be #TeamWorld anyway.

"Won it anyway" is hindsight. I didn't know Harrison had success in doubles, point taken.

Agree that Sock seems more into Chicago.

I wonder who France are going to go with in the Davis Cup final? I think Simon vs Cilic could be so interesting, especially with Gilles leading the H2H 6-1, and Marin's infamous choking ability.

I hope Simon has a good fall season and continues his great form after title in Metz.
