When ************* talks about Nadal being unlucky due to injuries, I always think of this match and weather luck.

You get unlucky some, and you get lucky some.
Exactly, it balances out.

The amazing luck Nadal always seems to get with draws (fixed to ensure he gets through and the tournaments get their blockbuster matches) is balanced out by the bad luck of his injuries etc.

Any luck Fed had with his opponents years ago is balanced out by the ridiculously tough opponents he had later on (rest of the big 4).

Pretty simple really.

Nadal needed that Rain delay. If someone wants to beat Nadal here, they really have to do it against ALL ODDS. Even Nature sends to be favoring Rafa whenever he's down.

Nadal has been awful even before the rain came. I have never seen him look this terrible on serve.

Always the same logic from trolls. Nadal is a lucky **** by willing the raingods for conditions that do not favour him and have been present since the start of the match just so he can get a break when those conditions get extreme enough. Point is, the deficit brought about by that condition would have gotten so large by the point he gets the break that he can't make up for it.

Again, typical hater logic. Everything that happens in the entire world is his fault. Even rain.

I think that Wimbledon 17 and RG 18 are maybe proof that draws could be arranged

Do people understand that playing in slight rain is the worst condition for Rafa on clay, hence why he struggles more often like today, and that him being "saved" by the rain-delay is because slight rain in a lot of cases becomes too much rain to play in.

Relax brother, anyone saying Nadal summoned the rain gods is joking.

Though I do keep seeing Tio Toni checking his pockets. Perhaps he is doing some sort of witchcraft.

Time to play Skyrim until the rain delay is over, or it's time for bed.

At this rate I will find out the results first thing in the morning. No way I'm going to sleep well with this over my head...

I think people do. I personally find it hilarious that Rafa needs perfect clay conditions to be at his prime.

Yeah, agree. I don't think Nadal wants rain under any circumstance.

Ain't rocket science to understand why.

Nadal hates dump conditions.
He has time to regroup, but unless Diego implodes, this match-up and the wet conditions are going to be hell for Nadal.

I have no idea about how this match will turn out, but here's an outcome I am feeling: if Rafa loses this match, Moya's gonna be fired before the end of the year.

Listen brother, I am sorry for the rain but also remember that wet courts hurt Bull. Brother, Bull is simply the better player and will prevail in 4 or maybe 5 if shorty keeps getting lucky and/or his injuries get worse.

Nadal is playing badly true.
But Diego is playing with heart and outstanding skills he would be troubling even a well playing Nadal.
I doubt he'd hardly win any games against prime Nadal. Any loses that guys like Rafa, fed and djoko take now aren't exactly out of the realm of possibility.

Why? Moya has been really good for Rafa.

Nadal is just playing really really bad. As he tends to do in wet conditions.
