The draw is complete. For his second ATP main draw appearance, Felix draws Fabbiano and then potentially Dzumhur/Kukushkin.

He's got a very workable draw. Let's hope he can get some Fritzian momentum going here.:p

some French kid called hugo gaston, age 17 is making atp tour debut (?), born sept 26th 2000,

looking at tourney draw on wiki, never heard of him, but has his own wiki page already..won junior orange bowl last December.

singles world rank 1'341.

Matches I'd like to see:
QF RBA v Khachanov
FAA on a run to play winner of above match
QF Krajinovic v Pouille
Tsitsipas rolling his way to winner of above match.

FAA and Tsisti in some juicy quarters with Bendy and Wawa could surprise if they play well. FAA looked great last week with Krajinovic, but Tsitsi seems to have slowed since a great start to the year with a convincing victory over an in form Gasquet.

Yet another Hugo?? @stringertom knows full well that I can't keep control of my Hugos. (Damn these young frenchmen!)

Berdych down a set against Travaglia. Does anyone know why he retired against Goffin last week?

Simon's game was a bit of a mess, but it was nice watching Filip and his transition game to the forecourt, has nice touch and overall awareness up there. Unlike Gilles who botched a few terrible volleys. Filip won the overwhelming amount of important points today, there were some competitive games. Gilles dropping his racquet whilst going down 1-4 in the 2nd set said it all, a very frustrating match for sure.

even bookies have stopped believing in stan. he was about -113 odds when it was 0-15 at 1-1, before he got broken. And Ivashka is ranked over 200 in the world... Shows how bad Wawa is nowadays.

stan is still playing on one leg. doesnt seem like he wants to go for his shots or chase after difficult balls. consistency isnt there atm. missing routine shots.

So sad to see Wawrinka play like this.

I think he’ll retire in a couple years guys

Kind of like a case with Soderling. He was ill and never made it back. very sad to see when players have to retire due to illness or injury. Can't believe im witnessing this with Stan. The guy who challenged and defeated the likes of Djokovic, nadal at slams is now losing to a qualifier ranked above 200 in the world.

why does stan look worse than he did at AO and previous tournaments?

Makes me sick when I see Fed/Nadal/Djoko fans wanting the others to get injured. It's painful seeing the greats look like that.
Same I’m a fed fan but don’t wish injury on any athlete.

sad for wawrinka but im even more sad about my bet. i ran 20 dollars to 120 dollars today. then i lose it all on wawrinka because he retired. hoyl ****, my book sucks. all bets are losses if your player retires.

Really don't enjoy seeing Stan like this. Either he came back a bit too early and he hasn't recovered completely just yet, or this how Stan will play from now on as a result of the surgery and in that case, I think he's done.

These courts and balls must be super fast...Benneteau had 25 aces in a match earlier this week and now Pouille, not known for ace barrages, has swatted 16 balls past Krajinovic in 9 service games and a TB.

Pouille left to defend French turf by himself? Sacre Bleu!

Nice week for the qualifier Ilya Ivashka from Belarus. He entered qualies ranked just inside the top 200 and had to win a 3rd set TB in 1R qualies, cruised easily 1R vs Djere, took a set from Stan before the retirement and now has defended that seeded slot with a 3-set upset of Mahut 4-6 6-3 7-5. He will play Pouille today, opposite the Big Boy Tennis SF of Berdych vs Khachanov.

Stan Wawrinka, who was wounded in the knee and forced to abandon him as soon as he entered Marseille, renounced his financial guarantee. Switzerland asked Jean-François Caujolle, the director of the tournament, to give a part of it to associations for children. Class #Open13

these first meetings in a final are definitely interesting. karen has so much power...his build is like safin. but pouille the craftier player. i think the crowd will pull lucas through to a win

No geriatrics in this final, eh @Meles ;)

[3] Lucas Pouille vs [9] Karen Khachanov, not before 3:00 pm local time....
I've been on a major project this week, so keeping my posting time down, but watching. Saw the whole thing and was amazed that Khachanov's will at the end got Pouille to basically choke in his final service game; never seen that from Pouille before.
