GGL is not Fed's R2 opponent. Fed gets a qualifier R2.

Not really. I doubt Kei and Joe will last that long. And Dimitrov and Cilic are doubtful too.brutal
Real question is what is the court speed compared to IW, will it be faster cause IW wasn't the best surface for Fed.
Slower.
Slower.
Well If he takes down those five and Roger In the final he sure has deserved itI'll take it
sunshine double, let's go big boy
Slower? So that means its like clay.

Handwringerer's delight.Federer:
R128. Bye
R64. García López
R32. Verdasco
R16. Carreño Busta
CF. Anderson
SF. Zverev
faces the winner of Tsitsipas/Medvedev in his first match, so I'd say he goes down thenWhen does Zverev lose?
oh no Fedr has to play Sock or Zverev in the semis

Good question:When does Zverev lose?
On paper Del Potro's draw has some names but I can't imagine him losing to Nishikori. Djokovic might not be there and even if he is, I don't see him beating Del Potro right now. The first dangerous matchup is Dimitrov. Del Potro owns Cilic.
not easy compared to Fed, until you start looking at form
Handwringerer's delight. The only silver lining to this cloud of geriatrics plus Zedrot is that perhaps Kokkinakis or Demon might qualify and be the first match. Verdasco and Garcia Lopez vying for R32 honors with Sandgren the young threat.
Maybe Manny for PCB R16, but really would rather see Busta in great form as a bit of an unknown with some ground game. Suppose Anderson and his delusions good enough QF, but he's got plenty of youngsters nipping and Tiafoe would be a pleasant surprise (Bendy in there with a rough draw). Kyrgios SF and Delpo final would be just deserts.

Federer virtually has the number one ranking locked up until Wimbledon with this draw...
