Why do they leave the court when 1 set all?
Not like they are puffed, need a change of clothes or need a loo break after just 2 sets..

Anyone else think that Rublev looks like a medieval pageboy?

"Anyone seen my pageboy Andrey lately?"

Also special thanks to Bruce Matheson for being born wealthy and using his wealth to become a sanctimonious, selfish, anti-tennis tournament fanatic.

It was a great setting for a tennis tournament. See you in the football parking lot.

Great tournament with great stories:
1. Isner finally comes through for M1000
2. Zverev finding his game
3. PCB shocking Anderson
4. Raonic on track with his comeback
5. Good tournament for NextGen:p
@Meles, do you predict one of the next Gen will beat Nadal on the clay this year? I would be dead shocked it that happened. Do you forecast it, or regard it as a good possibility?

For last year Next Gen graduate also. Coric and Chung are here to stay! Not too bad also from Medvedev.

Isner's win is lamenting that Big 4 era is definitely end. Anyone can win masters since Jack Sock - Krajinovic final at Paris Masters lol.
But very happy for John!

If Nadal is compromised then yes he'll go down. Thiem is the only one who might be able to find enough game to beat Nadal at his best. Its all about draw and Thiem in the same spot as last year. Coric, Thiem, Pouille, Goffin, and Zverev might all do really well, but the two biggest threats Goffin and Thiem have an injury cloud over them just like Rafa. Nadal has hardly been playing since Shanghai last year, so it seems unlikely he'll be at the top of his game out of the gate. This is why the tie between Spain and Germany is so very interesting. How well will Rafa play? Will he withdraw from a fifth straight event?
