4-0, I know it's early and Lajovic kinda sucks at the moment but already you can see a huuuge improvement compared to Miami.

Novak shouldn't let go off Vajda until his retirement.

Just saw quite a few 197 kph serves in the last game. He'll be incredibly dangerous if he finally has a serve once again. 5-0 over Serbian imposter LaNotDjokovic who has had some semblance of form recently.

I suspect Vajda would like that in writing but already I can sense he brings an atmosphere of calmness and familiarity to Novak's game. Something Novak shouldn't have been so quick to dispense with in the first place.

Contemplated on betting against Novak but didn't because there was a chance of Lajovic throwing the match due to their nationality/Vajda bribing.
    Inb4 Lajovic starts GOATing.

Well, sometimes the coaching change can be good (though firing off an entire team is still excesive). In this instance however, clearly the opposite is the case. I agree, Novak already looks more sure of himself, he was lost on court at IW/Miami.

Lajovic is an error machine gifting so many points to Novak but maybe that's the effect Novak has on him and which Novak has had on so many opponents when at the height of his form.

We will see.I dont know how good Boric is on clay and Thiem is coming from injury so Novak can reach QF.If he beats Boric and Thiem this will be very good for him after the IW and Miami performance

Coric has become a beast and the return game he had on display at IW/Miami will transfer to clay to go with his superlative serve game. Coric v Djoko is just a huge match. We'll see with Thiem coming off a fractured ankle, but Nole could be facing the three top clay courters of 2018 just to reach SF at Monte Carlo.

We cant decide from one match.Remember the last year he demolished Thiem in Rome and people were saying he is back but it didnt work out as people thought. After the MC is over we can probably conclude whether he is returning to his form

As @Doctor/Lawyer Red Devil told me, even a Djokovic in the form of his life would see this as an incredibly tough draw.

Also, AO. People forget that he beat the 21st seed in 3 easy sets before the Chung defeat. I won’t be judging until he goes deep in a few tournaments. Some of these guys in early rounds are really crap with no weapons. Lajovic is one. Sorry but it’s true.

Trying not to lose I guess. For someone who reach the semis in IW, and almost beat DelPo in Miami, this would be quite bad. I know it's clay but still

Yes.He wasnt playing so bad at AO actually.Dont know why he didnt do anything in IW and Miami. His draw at MC is very hard - Coric,Thiem,Nadal.I think he can defeat Coric and possibly Thiem

No butts, he certainly is. However that still isn't saying much given how terrible he was at IW/Miami.
