Couldn't catch a decent stream and had another stuff to see and do, but this tournament win can be quite big to Halep, as she's showing she might be avoiding the post-first major blues and building confidence to keep winning even more (and she's a confidence driven player, make no mistake).

Everyone on twitter discussing some real beef between Peng and Hsieh as well which I have not heard much about. Apparently the former #1 partners have a real rivalry now since Taiwan?

Peng responds to her ban and somewhat implicates Mirza in her drama...

@aussie, when you posted the first one about Hsieh's beef with Peng, was it to do with their quarrel over their fitness coach? I didn't think much of it because Hsieh has beef with just about everybody and has split up with Peng twice before.

I've posted in the other thread about Alison's response to Peng.

I don't believe Peng's story at all.

At least the final was good from all accounts. I will try to look it up if I can.

Halep and Sloane, we are getting a great rivalry. I think Sloane certainly deserves her place in WTA big 4.
