Playing Rotterdam but unsure of his backyard Dubai 500? I don't think so!

If he plays both with good results, that's a cushy lead over Nadal headed into IW. He plays it, skips Miami...maybe a try at clay???

another season of whining, flaky performances, calling the trainer, and tanking  for the wonderfully committed nick krapios.

always some drama with nick, we almost don't need to know what the "problem" is..we just know its a continuing pattern. meh. o_O

Was seriously lobbying for this exact schedule a few weeks ago (with Madrid/RG combo to give CYGS one last try, just because). That would be great, but let's see how he feels first (probably great should he make the last four next week, lol). :D

Great news on Fed (pretty sure this means he is healthy and fit), not so much Kyrgios. How is Dimi doing health-wise? Goffin is a question mark and Zverev coming off Davis Cup duty.

Goffin is sound...looked good at ATP250 Montpellier in his easy 2R (1R bye) win today.

This is awesome. Kyrgios has crappy elbow syndrome. Dimi serving like kaka - serious case of the second serve yips. Zverev can't read a dropper to save his life. Stan playing on one leg. Goffin too small. Tsonga too married and fat.

Berdych is the biggest challenge and unless he has a frontal lobotomy and redlines like a mofo Fed has got to make it to the title. Bring on the No. 1 spot! Genius scheduling.

LOL

LOL I love the entry list with all the top seeds and then also a random Roger Federer down at #28

The guys who were already playing are probably rolling their eyes and grumbling as their good shot at a prestigious title has now likely become yet another media spectacle where they are sacrificial lambs for some overachieving grandpa who has won more slams than many of them have even played in.

Killerboi is banned.
There is a god

Someday this will be the basis of an utterly spectacular trivia question:

What do the following players have in common?
  • Felix Auger-Aliassime
  • Thiemo de Bakker
  • Tallon Griekspoor
  • Roger Federer

@Sentinel provided a great tip for this - if you try to tag them in a post and they don't show up, they're banned. Not sure how you differentiate temporary from permanent but Senty said it was a temp.
Usually a permanent ban shows "banned" on the profile on the side of a post.

A temp ban does not, but the name won't autocomplete. I think this is to prevent us from getting into discussions about someone being banned and creating a stink.

In some cases, I think there are also perma bans which don't say "banned". Just a feeling, since some have not come back at all.

Understandable from the moderators perspective. That's why it's so confusing to me, because there are people I cannot tag, and their profile doesn't say banned - but the profile itself becomes unavailable to click on and they disappear for good. So I think you're right, there are banned users that are permed and don't have the "banned" rank.

It must be so frustrating for the rest of the tour. They probably thought they had seen the last of Fedal at the end of 2016, then Djoker and Muzz fall off a cliff in 2017 only for Fedal to return. The other guys must be wondering when they will actually get rid of these guys so they can win some slams and get hold of the # 1 ranking.

As long as they don't beat them they don't deserve a slam, lol.

obvious exaggeration
but hey look at Stan/Cilic/Delpo
