Richard was really over the top in praising Roger and talked for a long time. They showed a video of Roger's past triumphs. Fed looked like he was about to cry (and might have shed a tear) when he mentioned Mirka and the kids. Then Richard gave him a really cheap looking shoebox "award." But have to admit that Richard's aged very well, still fit, trim and pretty damn handsome!

Gotta say I'm not sure my version would've been better...

Nothing shameful about celebrating a great achievement, an unbelievable record breaking moment, a rewriting of the history of our sport in the universe. What else I can say about this new achievement by the old man. For me, he is the GOAT of sport, and I cannot imagine tennis without him - unfortunately the day when he retires is approaching because even Fed cannot play forever.
