Absolutely. He will be totally mentally in it by the time Wimbledon starts. Looks like 2750 points are on the cards this grass season. If he continues with this form and the backhand keeps firing I think USO will be in the bag too. All barring any injury of course. Also he needs to skip Canada and play Cincinatti. Its almost his home tournament for crying out loud. Come on Roger end the slam race for good.

I’m loving the reports on Fed’s form, but sweeping grass and USO in the bag! Early days, let’s stay calm...

Raonic barely beat Backerer at Wimby 2016. I guess that's better than Cilic who couldn't beat Backerer (though ironically Federer should have lost the Cilic match but won the Raonic match IMO).

So until they can prove they can beat a fully fit Fred (who destroyed both of them last year), I'm not buying into either of them.
fedr was Kneeerer at Wimby'16. Get your injury log updated!

Doesn't matter if he was off for 6 months, he's not Thiem to focus on these smaller events.

I still think he took Stuttgart as his back-up event last two years so he doesn't have only Halle in case he loses early (grass is tricky that way).
Yes, it's nice to have extra maneuverability and an extra AMG-powered Merc in an already overcrowded garage. After all, he has to give two sets of keys away on a couple of 16th birthdays in the future.

Troicki is still lamenting the day Rafa took V8 right under his nose few years back.

not at Wimbledon.
It was some time after Canada I think, going by his activity.

At Wimbledon, he did well to ward off A.Zverev (saving so many BPs) and played a decent match vs fed in the QF
ahh okay I mean I hardly ever take that poster seriously but was just curious.

Just saw the highlights of the Raonic-Berdych match.
Raonic just raised his level and connected with some good returns in both the TBs. some good volleying from him in the match.

Berdych had the only 2 BPs of the match - in one return game, but Raonic saved them.

Don't know who initiated the breakup.

But I'm going to go on a limb and say it was her since she immediately found another guy afterwards.
How could she drop Marvelous Milosh for this skinny dude?

Probably the least effective of Fed’s game has been his serve which has been mediocre these two matches, but something tells me he’s kind of kept it in the bag to get match play.

If he moves like this, hits the FH/BH like this and serves like he usually does, he’ll be very difficult to defeat.

Fed's serve was not upto par in the 1st match , but it was pretty good in this match for most part. Hardly lost points on serve until the last 2 service games.

Agree but this roger is rusty and is still late on the return of serves and hasn't found the timing yet. and Milos last year was Injured. Healthy Milos and rusty roger equals Milos the GOAT domination.........
LOL...Milos withdrew with a knee injury at M-C, then played three matches at Madrid before skipping mandatory Rome and RG. Is he fully healthy now?

If they play, Milos would need to win five matches in a row for the title. Wanna guess when he last did that?

Hint: fedr was injured that day.

Can't watch, but not surprised that Raonic took the first set in his semi.

Bad news for Pouille is that Milos was serving only 50% first serves. If that picks up, his chances of breaking will only diminish.

Also Pouille is winning fewer than 50% of points on his own second serve. That suggests Raonic is actually winning the rallies.

Lucas's title defence stops here surely.

Raonic is playing some very nice tennis today. He is returning well, moving well, keeping the ball deep, and I'm not even annoyed by his stroke production, which in the past has looked rather awkward to me. He's going to be a tough out if he keeps playing like this in Stuttgart, and a real threat at Wimbledon.

Fedr will toy with him like he did last year.

Threat to the rest of the field but not Fedr.

Lol, Pouille stuck at 3-3 in the second set. That game must be well over ten minutes! He's had multiple game points but can't close. Raonic has had break points too.

Playing Raonic is always such a nightmare. Pouille just can't pressure him on serve. Raobot is back at his best.
