Ok ok we get it fedal got beat and taken out before the final and it hurts. We get it. Just take your misery over to the former pro player forum and or youtube of fed vs roddick and hewitt. That is salve for the fed fan soul.

I was disappointed in Delpo but full credit to Djokovic. He was a wall at the back of the court and thoroughly deserved the win.

I still can't get over Delpo crying :((((((
Why not? 9 years later he got beaten in 3 sets. He knows how tough it is to get to the finals of a Slam. Why is this showing of emotions among men constantly looked down at? It makes us deny our sons to have emotions under the guise of being tough. Why is it that Serena is just showing her emotions and people in US papers and other forums are defending her for it? But when a men is emotional he is unmanly and called names? Or did you mean you, you feel for Delpo crying? In which case, good for you.

the last one, you could see how much he wanted it and meant for him, and he played pretty well (besides some unforced errors), especially on 2nd set. Made me feel for him

Based on the emoji, I assumed it's the latter.

Delpo did his very best in the second set with a monumental fightback and pushing Joker to the Limit.

But when djoker plays defence like this, he can't do much. He will hit out and make errors because its tough to hit winners after winners. I think may be thiem might have done a damage to Djoker if they had met.

match itself was anti-climactic.

would have been nice for delpo to at least push novak more to his limits.

novak played steady and solid...about as straightforward a GS final as it could be...

Djokovic making a solid run now..he is easily the favorite going into AUSOPEN...WoW..if he wins there..!!! we have to start talking slam race...

Not a great final but still better than all the other finals this year and from last year expect aus open 2017
What was not great about it? That Nadal and Federer weren't in it? Del Potro played great, it is just that the scrawny brick wall called Ultron doesn't let anything get past him right now. He even volleyed and smashed without errors! Now, that might be more astonishing than winning 14th Slam for Djokovic.

Yes. The 2015 Wimbledon - 2016 RG NoleSlam. That was followed by Murray, Wawrinka, and Fed/Nadal alternating wins
Had never looked at consecutive slams.

Assuming I counted correctly I see that Fed has the most consecutive slam periods, three times he won 2 in a row and two times he won three in a row.

Nadal had one 2 slam streak and one three slam streak.

Nole's had one two slam streak (the current one), one three slam streak and, of course, one four slam streak.

How far can the current streak go?
