Bit of a block buster this one potentially, but should be good! What do you think?

This could be a epic match, that could go the distance. Delpo is playing big tennis and looks to be fit and eager.

I'm going to say Nadal in 5, but I won't be surprised if Delpo wins in 4 or 5 as well.

Has the potential to be an epic. Depends on which Del Potro turns up tomorrow. Nadal will bring it on for sure.

Yeah can only see Rafa win this one. 4 sets before getting dragged deep into 4th set tie break v Simon and lasting 4 and half hours over 2 days. Rafa will be fresher and hungrier of the two to get to his first semi since
2011.

Lets hope for a great match. This is the first big name match we got.

Nadal's path to the title is now is officially the hardest of the big three.

Some sane voice, at last. Nadal exploited Delpo's movement at US Open and RG. Not gonna be so easy on grass where Delpo's aggression will be difficult to deal with for any player. I still think Rafa would win based on their history that most of Delpo's victories against Nadal came when the Spaniard was struggling in 2009 and 2016. Having said that, he also defeated in form Nadal at Shanghai in 2013. So, this won't be an easy match at all. It will be a hard fought match.

Haha I don't know but despite the opponents he has done his job

Well, these same fans of lord Fedr said that Vesely as a big server was Nadal's first big test. Now he gets relegated to a "mug" after failing to win a set against Nadal.

By the way, I honestly think that Nole is back to his best since Queens which he almost won. So, don't be too shocked if he wins Wimbledon again. I hope he doesn't, but I know his level is high enough to win the title.

I think del Po will be called a mug aswell if Rafa routines him.

Nadal will mix in effective low slices against the big guy and win in 3.

Even as a fan of Rafa, I used to think his slice looked weird. His slices have been effective though despite my opinion of it. And they have looked better since 2017 imo.

You bet that's what they will call him, even though they don't want to see him anywhere near Federer. That's why we fans because of our bias, are not the best judge when it comes to our favourite players and their rivals.

How do you see Nole's chances this tournament? I didn't see his matches expect a few games. He looked quite good against Khachanov in a couple of games that I saw.

I wanted to enjoy some of his recent losses, but I found it hard to celebrate the misfortune of another. Even of Djokovic, who has been Nadal's toughest rival.

I've only been able to watch the first two matches and set one against Edmund. I missed the game vs Khachanov but caught some highlights.

I saw all his matches at Queens and already there I thought he was playing great and said he is due for a top 4 spot at Wimby. He is one step away from that. IF he gets to the semi, I can see him making the final. Why not. But Nadal has a good shot aswell. I don't know what you think about that. We'll see though.

Delpo's victories against Nadal came when the Spaniard was struggling in 2009 and 2016.

Miami 09 - Nadal won AO + Indian Wells, Del Po was 6.20 underdog as a top 10 player ....
Canada + US Open 2009 - Del Po was still underdog 2-2.50
2016 ... One match(Rio) The one was coming from a few months of injury, the other from 2 years of surgeries and lack of confidence..

If anything, Nadal has three wins over 18 years old Del Potro in 2007

I find it funny how people think that Nadal is somehow a super favorite... Most of their matches are extremely close and there is that 6-2, 6-2, 6-2 "Nadal has to be injuried" one
